Hands down, or rather up in praise (!!), The Best of the Best. ..Quite literally has something for everyone. But it’s not just that. The love and energy that infuses each and every interaction here lifts your spirit from the moment you enter.. and remains with you forever after. It’s that place you go back to time and time again for all things beautiful and unique and imbued with goodness. The owner Raquel is beyond helpful (and quite simply one of the kindest and purest and most intentional people I know, in the best way). She supports artists with products that Contribute positivity to the world.. Artists and sellers that put their hearts and love into their creations. You Feel it. If you care about that kind of thing, this place is without doubt for you. And if you don’t, this place is without doubt for you, too. Candles, clothing, pillows, socks, the jewelry, home decor galore, incense, perfumes, bamboo robes to die for, bags, blankets, scarves, trinkets, soaps, lotions.. I could go on and on. Clearly one of my fave places, I know :) But that says something. It’s not just a shop, it’s a feeling.. a restoration in faith that good people do exist and that love is manifest and shared through the pieces soulfully created and carefully chosen. ..And Raquel’s husband and son are awesome, too, jsyk (as you may meet them, as well..)! Her son literally carried my bags to my car. Kindness...
Read moreWent to this store with my partner on 6/21/22. We are both very sensory-oriented people, and often pick up and touch items we are interested in. Within the first five minutes of being in the store, my partner picked up a brush, tapped it on their fingertips and back of their arm, and showed it to me, genuinely interested in it. A woman (who I assumed to be the owner after reading the reviews scarily similar to our experience, and then confirmed by viewing her instagram for the shop) proceeded to belittle us and speak in a very condescending matter, saying things such as, ”that’s not a toy, that’s for your face, don’t do that, that’s a twenty dollar brush, don’t do that,” repeating herself as if we couldn’t understand her. We are adults. It felt infantilizing. Partner tried to respond and explain, was met with “no you’re not,” and the like, etc. We both got a very condescending and ableist tone from her. We immediately left. God forbid you touch something you are interested in. Also, just an afterthought, but if something is made for scrubbing and washing, it would be safe to assume it should hold up to someone gently touching it for less than a minute? Not only that, but by stating it was for your face, would she rather of us rubbed it on our faces? Silly thought. Just plain rude. After the fact, we laughed it off and didn’t let it ruin our day. Spend your...

Today my two friends and I, all 15, walked into this store to look around and we honestly considered purchasing something. Upon walking in, we noticed her giving us a weird glare but shrugged it off. We all stood next to each-other browsing the store when suddenly the owner was uncomfortably close. She said to us “There is a two student maximum!”. We gave her a puzzled look, not knowing what she meant at the time. I have genuinely never been called a student when in a store. Another lady then stepped in, again getting in our faces, saying “Is it that hard to understand!”. She then told us that one of us needed to leave, which is a weird thing to do so we all left. After that, my one friend and I just entered. This time were only “two students”. We again were given a dirty look, but then asked if we needed help with anything. We said no, as we honestly didn’t, and went about our shopping. She then came up again while we were looking at a bag, reached over our heads and took the bag away. By this point I started to walk away towards one of the displays. I then heard her say to my friend “You need to leave!”. I turned around and watched the owner put her hands on my friend and physically push her out the door. I then got kicked out too. Do not go here, I would give 0...
