Smitty's Wine & Spirits — Local services in Galloway Township

Nice store with good variety and usually pleasant, helpful staff. We went in tonight (7-30-16 at 5:45 pm) to buy some wine and a young man in his 20s (slender with long, brown hair, a beard) was working the cash register along with a blonde woman. The young man used the F-word twice in 1 sentence. I walked up and told him that he really should not be using foul language with customers around. He was very rude and said "What the F* do I care, it's all adults in here". I said that it's disrespectful to curse in front of women (I'm 54 and I have a son his age) and he laughed at me and again cursed. My husband walked up to the counter and the young man, I should say punk, said something else ignorant and then said "Go ahead and tell my boss if you don't like it." My husband asked for the owner's name and he wouldn't give it. He has not seen his boss in months. When my husband asked him what his own name was he said "What does it matter and laughed". I would like the owner to know exactly what is going on in his store when he is not there and what terrible customer...

Great selection with reasonable pricing. The store is in a great location. It is very well kept and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They rely knew there probucts. I will definitely be going back there. A big thumbs up to the employees and the owners...

The store is a bit dingy looking. Wine selection is so-so. Prices are way too high now and don't match the atmosphere. Cashiers do their job but not beyond as far as repartee with the customer. Good for a quick in and out for last minute dinner wine pick up....
