I went in on 12/26/24 about 3:30, I usually know what I need, this time I was looking for lentils. This young kid, kinda big, short black hair just washed his hands. I ask him where the lentils are he points & says down that Isle to the right. I'm like really your what 6 steps away & you can't show me? So I'm looking & looking & I look over & he's just standing there talking with the other employee, I look at him like are you going to help or what? Finally I find them. Only one bag, one type & one brand. What a pathetic employee, but what can you expect from the kids parents raise now days. To bad there isn't another health food...

By far my favorite place to buy my fresh food in the Gallup Area. I recently did a 40 juice cleanse. I needed a serious amount of fresh fruits and vegetables in a 4 day interval and La Montañita came true the whole way. Speak to Marc, he is the man. For 6 weeks I was able to make the best juices possible. All organic and fresh. If only people understood more what food does to their bodies and to their brain in particular, this place would be 10 times the size it is right now. Micheal is great and extremely knowledgeable, and the rest of the staff are helpful and friendly! Always a breath of fresh air (no pun intended, but it works😅) I like the fact that if the staff doesn't know what you're looking for, (Ashagawanda) they research and educate themselves, and are eager to help you.
