Plantation Shopping Center — Local services in Garden City

I wasn't impressed at all with this store. It was extremely busy, but hardly anything I went there for was stocked. Empty shelves, backed up lines to pay for your stuff and what happened to the humans that check you at the register? They have only self check out lines, which in my opinion slows up the flow of purchase because a lot of people just don't know how to use those. I hate those things my self. If u buy an oddball item, you have to wait for an employee to come over and walk you through the procedure, yet they still have to punch in some code, so why bother showing me for next time?? I think ALL Walmart stores went WAYYYYY downhill with their new business model of processing people out thru purchasing. "If it ain't broke,don't fix it". The old way of operations was....

I went to Dickeys for a brisket sandwich. I has mac and their onion tanglers for my side. I opened my fried onions up and it barley filled up the corner in the bag. I asked if they ran out because the bags usually filled up and the guy at the counter said the owner said these have to be weighed out and that is the serving. Great place to shop in this shopping plaza! Big lots is unfortunately leaving soon but love Ross, Big Five has good prices, Idaho Pizza always has a fresh salad bar and the pizza is some of the best I've had D. and B has knowledgeable staff.
