Flying Pie Pizzaria-Overland — Restaurant in Idaho

When I called to place an order, it was an automated "order-taker". I was frustrated and hung up. I immediately received a phone call from out of the area and when I answered, it sounded to be a central call center or call farm. that individual continued my order, and then i had to be switched back to the automated system/voice to tell them i would pay when i picked up the pizza.

When i got my pizza, it was not even correct. This is probably because of a language barrier when i asked for no olives. The pizza did have olives. and yes, I realize the first world problems of leaving a review due to olives being on a pizza, but it all comes down to I can't even call the restaurant to place an order with a real person at the restaurant, it's outsourced out of the country. This is disappointing and I do no like it one bit. I should have declined to continue to place an order as soon as I realized i wasn't talking to someone at the actual restaurant....

Pros -Pizza is pretty good.

Cons -its expensive if you mind eating good pizza for the price. -my negative review is due to the dishonesty and unethical practices from the company in relation to the rewards program. I understand not all companies offer rewards points but flying pie program is misleading as they don't tell you that you can only see rewards points on online orders in your account. If you eat at the location, order by phone or any other means that is not online then you don't get points and won't see a record. There is no disclosure anywhere how the rewards program actually works.

In short, the pizza is good 👍 and if you don't care about paying up or getting rewards points then is not a bad choice. However if you care about giving business to transparent companies this is...

I have, through my daughter, ordered the contest combo gluten free pizza three different times, each time it has been burnt. How hard is it NOT to burn the crust Flying Pie? Apparently VERY. I am already charged EXTRA for gluten free crust, which if cooked correctly, I am more than willing to pay. However Flying Pie can not cook it correctly. I am so disappointed. I shouldn't have to have it remade, have my daughter drive back and pick it up to find the toppings scarce on the pizza with the most toppings you can order or the crust burnt. I shouldn't have to wonder if the toppings I ordered will be scarce or if the pizza will be burnt each time. Three strikes and YOUR OUT, it's such a shame.
