I am extremely upset, I was at the Warren county fair yesterday July 30th. The first part of my time there was great, saw all the animals and everything like that, then we went to the rides and got our tickets. The very first ride we tried to go on was the Ferris Wheel, I tried to go on with my fiancé. I went up and stood at the gate entrance, stood there for a little, the guy working and I kept giving each other looks, and I was just confused on why I wasn’t being let in, he then very rudely said “Are you gonna keep staring or are you gonna come up here?” Which I found this as a shock, I was not expecting this at all, I let it go. I said “Oh, I’m sorry.” And walked in the gate leading my fiancé and I in the gates. I walk up the stairs ready to give him the tickets, I had a little mix up I was about to give him 4 for both of us, then I corrected my self to 8 tickets, 4 for each. I was having some trouble ripping the tickets, and I was even trying to rush so I didn’t waste this guys time, so I tried to hand it to my fiancé. As soon as I tried to hand it to my fiancé the guy working said “Are you gonna hold up the line or are you gonna get on?” He was giving me an attitude aswell and there was NO ONE behind us, we were the only ones standing there, mind you we weren’t even in the gates of the Ferris Wheel for five minutes. He gave us like 1 minute before he asked us if we were going to get on or not. I found this completely unacceptable, especially since he’s working around children. I was so angry and upset we didn’t even get on the ride. I told him “No I’ll just leave then.” So I left. I tried to have a good rest of my time there but to be honest he ruined my whole experience. I felt extremely disrespected and he was just plain out rude. I called Warren county fair and gave a complaint because it was very unexpected, they sent me to your guys website. Anyways how does it make sense to be rude when you work amusement rides? You work with kids. I really hope that man loses his job. No wonder there was only ONE person on the Ferris wheel...
Read moreIf I could give a Negative Star I would. McDaniel Brother is the vendor of choice for this years Warren County Fair in NJ. The Octopus ride is an ABSOLUTE DANGER. I have never been more scared for my 4 year, I had to have a death grip on him as the ride was taking place. I intern was injured as well as I now have whip-lash from the excessive speed of the ride. My son has many bruises on him as well. I have tried to call multiple times to the organizers of the Warren County Fair and McDaniel's Brothers to advise them of the incident that took place yesterday at the fair 8/4/21. I have not received a call or email back regarding my concern of this DANGERIOUS RIDE. If I would have let my 4 year old go on with another child they would have been severely injured/ or thrown out of the ride or even killed. I will be filling a formal complaint with the BBB as well. This is just a death/dangerous accident waiting to happen and needs to be decommissioned as a ride for all...
Read moreThe ride workers were extremely rude to me and my 6 year old son. They were unpleasant. At the carousel horses the woman kept giving my kid nasty looks when he was buckling his seatbelt. I went to try to help him and she snarled at me to get back. She herself was having difficulty … due to the cigarette lighter in her hand perhaps? Cigarettes littered the areas around the rides and as far as I could see it was only the...
