Store would have received a 5 if I could get any service at all at the deli. I don’t know if it’s the language barrier or something else but they have literally skipped over me in line and helped the next person. Market and store are great. Prices on meats and fish at the butcher counter are amazingly cheap and quality is very high. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and larger than those at Wal-Mart. Bakery is also very good. Fresh tortillas, several freshly made salsas. Guacamole, and pico de Gallo are also available. My family used to get cakes from here a lot but for some reason the past 3 times they have messed up our orders… first they used black and dark blue for my sister’s GIRL babyshower, second time they gave us a 2 rotten cakes and the owner argued with my sister saying that they make those fresh every single day. I usually get my tres laches cake firm el Rio grande in mesquite location for past 6 years for bdays and any events, this very 1st time I went to garland location I asked before purchasing it if it’s fresh she said yes they’re fresh made!

When I bought it home and after cutting the cake 1st of all it’s wasn’t fresh and doesn’t look like tres laches because it was literally dry there was barely some milk at the end and no one ate more than a bite.
