I really expected to be disappointed and write a negative review. Seriously, a Salvadorian restaurant that also serves Mexican food? I knew that the Gorditas de carne molida would be mediocre at best. I WAS WRONG!! I order to go and when I got home I was taken back to my childhood on the Juarez/El Paso border. Gorditas cooked to perfection, flavorful carne molida, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, & crema.
Came with just enough jalapenos for garnish, next time I go I will ask for extra. This little neighborhood restaurant is a jewel; clean, pleasant staff, good food, moderate prices. Great little place to try. If there Mexican food is this good, imagine what their Salvadorian food is like.

Read moreBEWARE!!! The problem began when I called in a pick up order for six tamales, three corn (elite) and three chicken. When I got home my order contained a total of four tamales. I called and was told she heard incorrectly. WARNING!!! If you are not accustomed to eating chicken tamales with the whole chicken in them including bones, wings, etc. now you know. This was the most distasteful and labor intensive chicken tamal I’ve ever eaten. The masa was very mushy. Please be aware of young children and the elderly with dentures eating this...
Read moreI ordered food for delivery. Based on the reviews I thought the pupusas were going to be good, and I now regret giving this place a chance. The pupusas barely have any filling. Its like they only put a bit of cheese in it. Lacked beans and pork which I had specifically asked to have extra of. They took long as well, I was waiting about an hour to get the pupusas. This place just isn't worth it. Save your money unless you like eating pupusas...
