24 Seven Tacos — Restaurant in Garland

I recently visited this taco place and had an okay experience overall. The food was decent but didn’t blow me away, so I’d rate it a solid 3 out of 5. One of the biggest issues was the long lines; we ended up waiting longer than I expected. It was the kind of wait that made me wish I had just stayed in the car instead.

The seating situation wasn’t great either, as there weren’t enough seats, so we found ourselves standing around a lot. To make matters worse, it felt like some of the other customers had staring problems, which added to the discomfort.

On a positive note, the two cooks were fantastic! They were friendly and worked hard, but I did wish they spoke a little more English to help out with the ordering process. The location is convenient, right across from the skate park, so I can see why it’s popular with skaters. However, if I'm going to drive out of my way for tacos, I likely wouldn't choose this...

The trompo tacos (10) were amazing. Great flavor. This is one of those places that Door Dash has ruined when it comes to wait time. When we ordered there were only three people if front of us, but orders kept printing out from online -DoorDash, and then two or three guys show up with food bags and we ended up waiting an hour and a half while they filled all the online orders. You could see people getting pissed off. Door Dash/Uber Eats should be limited to ghost kitchens. There were only two people making food and they were buried, and catching a lot of heat from Door Dash and customers alike. Not fair to customers who show up and place their orders. I love the tacos but not enough to camp out. I’m not buying...

Customer service was zero stars. I tried to call in an order for their barria pizza being that it's not on their menu for Uber eats or door dash. A man answered the phone and asked if I spoke Spanish, I replied no. Then he just hung up. I called back and asked if anyone spoke English so I could order and he said no, and hung up again. I attempted to call a separate location and spoke with someone who also said no one spoke English. As I attempted to pull out a translator I was hung up on again.
