Firewheel Town Center — Local services in Garland

Ok, here is my take on AMC Firewheel 18.

I went to the 2nd showing of American Made. The outside was clean and ready for business. I do like the option of buying tickets thru the Phone App and walking right in. Young lady at the entrance scanned me and l was in.

The cafe area was still closed at 2pm. So no review on food choices, bummer. Staff at Snack Counter were very helpful, showed me how to use my Stub Club, but l paid cash hope l did not mess and not get points. l order a popcorn and used my Stub Card perks for large upgrade on both items. Suppose to be free upgrades

The Soda Kiosks were a cool idea and on both sides of the snack counter. Only issue it really needed some TLC. Popcorn all over floor and napkins and straw paper all over counter.

Theater was clean, normal theater setup. Seats were very comfortable for this big guy. Watched the Noovie Previews and ran for refills on popcorn and drink before movie was suppose to start came back to more previews before movie began.

Floor was still a mess in front of Soda kiosk. So l really do not think it was touched at all during my visit.

I do like the options of 3D and Dolby and Premium Power Recliners and able to purchase and select your own...

I guess this is an open mall, which is way better. It's like a little town square with the best stores. They have all the best shops: Ulta, Claire's, bath and body, movie theater, Aunt Annie's, hot topic, and even a Spencer's!

It's been years since I've been in one and I still love the inappropriate t shirts, buttons, and stickers. They have a massive selection of quality body jewelry, a section for zen with crystals, enlightenment books, tarot, oils, incense, etc.

They have a small adult section, but everything else is swag with hilariously snarky or sarcastically self deprecating or ironically condescending. From stickers and buttons, to mugs and shot glasses, to t shirts, hoodies, and sweats. I'm sure they can put your favorite meme on anything.

Ooo! They have lava lamps and 60s/90s ish trippy swag like black light posters of psychedelic mushrooms melting. Thank have black, strobe, n led lights. 420 stuff as well.

We got candy at the candy shop, went into hot topic, and we had to check out scrappy costumes. Def a perfect place to hit up before the renascence festival or Halloween, cosplay, etc.

Finally we went to auntie Annie's and had yummy...

8/31/2021. Still no air conditioning in the Entire strip of Spencer’s and Bath and body works… This happens every year and at the worst time because the mall doesn’t fix… now these kids are out of work til the air is fixed or they deliver coolers that ACTUALLY work in the Texas heat!!!

This mall/ Company has no regard for the people who work for the companies within their mall. The maintenance team responsible for taking care of the air conditioning for the strips can’t do their jobs to save their souls. In the last 2 weeks Spencer’s store and their whole side have been without air conditioning and this mall is doing nothing even when they send mail stating they have the parts to fix the unit but have NOT INSTALLED IT.. It is to hot for these young people to be inside these hot stores without appropriate air in this TEXAS HEAT!!! Inside Spencer’s where I attempted to shop 4 times now was 86 degrees on those useless air boxes!! How are these kids supposed to work with it being so god awful hot in there!!!!!!!! This same thing happens every year here and yet this mall owner is so cheap that they just don’t care! Fix it...
