COOKIES — Restaurant in Garland

Funny story. My family and I walked by and decided to grab a couple of cookies. It was 8:40 p.m. on a Wednesday night (they close at 9:30.) I pulled the door to open it and it was locked. The lights were mostly off and there was a girl on the phone behind the counter seemingly on a VERY interesting phone call. She walked leisurely to the door as if she was going to open it and when she got to the door she turned her back. THEN she walked halfway back to the counter as she stood with her back toward the door as another couple walked up on our side. She returned to the door, still with her phone to her head, and stood at the door with her back turned. She walked halfway to the counter a second time as my wife and the other couple scoffed and walked away. At this point I was very interested to find out how long this would take. She made another round of walking and walking away until she finished her phone call and once she hung up she pushed the handle and opened the door.

Upon walking in I inquired if there was an emergency or some problem and she launched into a litany of weak excuses that were not in the least bit believable and the scoffed treated me as if I had done something wrong by inquiring why she made us stand outside in 48 degree weather while she finished her phone call.

Two stars instead of one simply because the other girl that emerged from the back was cordial, polite and actually took the time to look me in the eye and smile while we were speaking.

Even my 6 year old daughter had the insight to state as we were leaving that we probably shouldn’t go back. $6 for three cookies isn’t entirely unreasonable if you enjoy the experience as a family. $6 for three cookies and an unreasonable experience is simply -...

I was doing door dash with my girlfriend and when I went in to pick up the order they said they didn’t have it and sent me away (after giving attitude) and refused to work with me on getting it fixed. My girlfriend got in contact with door dash and told her to go in and have the order filled and door dash will take care of the payment, he gave her attitude before deciding he was actually going to put in the effort to call door dash and work out the issue. Turns out he was in the wrong, he needed to reset his tablet. He fixed it. But the owners so decided to say in the background “that other girl couldn’t do it so she sent in her ‘boy girlfriend’ to fix it for her” the other staff quickly told him that was insanely inappropriate but he showed no remorse. The owner and his son are entirely disrespectful and I would not recommend doing business with them if customer service is important to you.

I wanted something sweet to eat and what's better than fresh baked cookies 🍪. They didn't offer any cookie bars 😒 but there are a few flavor options. I ordered nestle chocolate chip cookies (2 ct) , nestle peanut butter chocolate chip cookies ( 2 ct) , nestle pecan turtle cookies (2 ct) and last but not least Häagen-Dazs Chocolate ice cream tub (14oz). My nestle peanut butter chocolate chip cookies , broke when I tried to pickup from the cookie box. All cookies are delicious and soft.
