So I just love the jewelry at James Avery. I honestly though always avoid jewelry stores because obviously you will be paying quite a bit if you shop the way I do. So anyways for mothers day I finally placed my first other, although I have eyed pretty much everything they sell there, I've only ever been inside the store once. Well let me tell you I shopped online to avoid the long last minute mothers day lines. But I made a terrible mistake I didnt update the ring size for my mothers size ring. I had it saved under a size for me on a wishlist. Well as I was rushing to place the order before they opened I accidentally noticed 5 minutes after I submitted my order my terrible mistake. So I decided to call as soon as they opened. Idk who answered but they were so rude, didn't even let me talk on the phone. Not only were her questions not clear, she was Interupting me. I just wanted to be sure to reserve the right ring that I actually needed before everyone began in store shopping because of the holiday. Well got what I needed done. Then I go to pick it up and the lady who attended me was just acting like she hated her job. No greeting or have a nice day. Just gave me what I needed and didn't even bother giving it to me wrapped like everyone else's bags with nice tissue and everything. I had to stop with the lady outdoor for a bag and tissue paper. I obviously already had terrible service over the phone, didn't think it'd be the same insi. Was just as bad. Sucks because I actually love their jewelry. Even got 3 items gifted on mothers day. Visited that location because it was the closest to me but honestly might just go visit elsewhere next time. Oh and I cant forget to emphasize that im never rude when I need exchanges done or help. So no reason for...
Read moreFor a store that’s very strict for COVID regulations. I called the store for my contactless pick up the lady I spoke with told me just let the lady at the door know and I specifically asked he r If I needed to wait in line and she said no. I waited in line and the man in front of me was coughing and sneezing (me thinking that the lady at the door would be asking the customer) and no she didn’t. I’m not sure why they have these regulations and restrictions if they aren’t going to follow. The employee Lidia just let the man go even with the cough and congested. She needs to be either talked to or written up especially for the way she talks to the customers. Very rude! Also if you have an online order the employees should not be touching our phones to see the order why can’t we just show you and scroll ourselves instead of the employees...
Read moreI recently had an issue with the tax of a refund caused by the system glitch at this store and wasn’t able to resolve over the phone. In fact the associate told me over the phone that there was nothing that could be done to correct the issue. I was not satisfied and wanted to speak to the manager. I came to the store and was greeted immediately. Once I told the associate the issue, she knew immediately and went back to check with her manager then came back with my refund. The manager, Lisa, came out, introduced herself, and explained that the system glitch was brought up to IT. Extremely...
