This parish needs major reform.
The chanting of the priest and the song selection and skill of the choir was quite good, but whoever is in charge of this parish is still obsessed with COVID, despite the CDC claiming that COVID-19 is an endemic like any other disease many months ago they have ridiculous measures in regards to this stuff. The deacon I received from was getting his hands sprayed with some sanitizer and he touched my Eucharist with it. Unable to give it back, I was essentially forced to receive a Eucharist with this stuff on it, and swallowed sanitizer in the process. You don't have to work in the medical field to know that you're not supposed to consume hand sanitizer. It's a shame a church with a good-looking sanctuary, community, church exterior, community, choir, organ, and overall liturgy is being bogged down by this stuff. I will never be back to this parish again; there are dozens of parishes out there who can give me the Blessed Sacrament without smearing goop that humans are not supposed to put in their mouth all over it, thanks.... Also, Sherry in the area of religious education. . .very loving and understanding with our families trying to get their kids registered for the sacraments.
