Warhammer — Local services in Garland

I will be happy to upgrade this the next time I take the travle but the store hours online said it would be open today, I called didn't get anyone so I figured they were really busy, took a 2 hour public transit ride, as I'm new to warhammer and wanted to pick up a few supplies and ask some question. when I got there at 5:25 the store had a closed sign that said be back at six, figured ok its a mall I can wait saw a UPS slip in the door so figured they must have had to do something importat so I got lunch hit up a comic store, and came back at 6, same slip in door same everything, was a little sad but thought ok give them another little while 6:30 rolls around and nothing, so I left, as my only day off when they are listed as open and a long 4 hours round trip it was a little bit of a let down, however I'll give them another shot sometime I hear the people are nice but make sure you get confirmation before you...

Mark is phenomenal. I visited here a while back as a complete newbie to Warhammer. Mark spent 2+ hours with me playing an intro game and showing me how to paint models. I brought my friend here a couple of weeks later, and had an equally great experience. Truly a great customer experience. We're both hooked on Warhammer now! If you're interested in Warhammer, or a newbie looking to learn more, don't hesitate to visit this store.

PS this store is a one man show, so if he’s not able to be at the store on a given day for whatever reason, it will be closed. He always posts an update to the Warhammer Garland Facebook page if the store is going to be closed when it typically would be open, so I suggest giving it a look (or calling) before...

Store is nice, not as big as Grapevine's, also prices are higher here. Not sure why. As an example, The 9th edition Codex books are $53 dlls, whereas on Grapevine are $33. Although both are not the lowest prices, compared to some online stores and understanding the fact that we should support the local stores, this I think is still way too big of a difference.
