EDIT 3/1/25. Couch was finally replaced.
EDIT 2/21/25. Bought couch and loveseat and it was delivered end of November 2024. The couch had a tear in it and the 2 staff were notified and stated it would be replaced immediately. We waited. Ended up calling them back and asking when to expect the replacement. Was told that the replacement came in damaged. We waited several more weeks and called again. Stated they should be getting the shipment soon and would call as soon as it could be delivered to us. Again, we waited. Called back again and spoke with the store manager who stated it was on the truck to be delivered to their store. Again, we waited. Nothing. We have called multiple times and get the same excuse. It it’s now mid February and we have called, yet again, and was told “well I don’t see a note on your file about the couch”. We are so very frustrated at this point. We put a large down payment down and then the rest would be paid off in a matter of months. We only have a few more payments left until it’s paid in full and we still have a defective couch. Still waiting and still getting excuses.

   Read moreThese people are definitely SCAMMERS. DO NOT PAY FOR A WARRANTY, YOU CANT USE IT. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company, I bought a brand new dining room table recently. First off the idiots put the table together when they were not suppose to. They never called me and told me it was ready. I had to keep calling but again it speaks to their professionalism. The guy (BLACK, BALD, OVERWEIGHT) helped load the table broke it. He denied ever helping; however, the person that was helping him had a fractured collar bone; therefore, I guess thin air loaded it. He’s the one that specifically said it cracked. He was in such in a hurry because he locked his keys in his truck. The manager who has absolutely no business doing anything in a store, Jack is incompetent. He is stating that it will not cover it with the warranty I have paid $100 plus for. Let these people be your last resort when attempting to get furniture. When I asked for Corporate’s number, he told me to Google it with him being ignorant again; therefore, while I’m googling it, I decided to leave an Google review.

   Read moreMy review is going to be a little lengthy. First I want to start by saying that Kimbrells has been around for a very long time. It was one of the only furniture stores in the small town I grew up in near the coast of NC. However I wasn’t really interested in trying the Gastonia store out because I knew they were very pricey. I went to every single furniture store in Gastonia because I really wanted to avoid going into Charlotte. All the other stores were waaaay above what I was willing to pay for what I was getting. I especially hate Ashley furniture because of a past horrific experience with them. So I just decided to see what Kimbrells has. Boy was I surprised! I should have gone there first! The salesman great! The manager great! The prices were great! So I purchased what I needed. They accommodated my requested delivery time AND actually showed when they said they would! That’s always hard to believe! The delivery guys were attentive and respectful. I will definitely be bringing my business back to this store...
