The Ugly Duckling — Local services in Geneseo

Sarah is the rudest sales person I have ever come across. She belittled a woman in front of other customers to the point that you could tell the woman was very uncomfortable. After that she called who I assume was her employer to tell her side of what happened before the woman in the store could I assume. In front of everyone(this is a children’s store) Sarah talked about how “pissed off” the customer was. In my opinion very unprofessional. I would have left without buying anything but this store has the best selection of Jellycat stuffed animals I have seen in my area. It really is a gem and a very cute shop but that Sarah is a very unpleasant woman. She was very rude to me as well. I drove 30min. Just to go to Ugly Duckling for their Jellycat stuffed animal collection and you could tell Sarah was irritated by how long I spent looking at the stuffed animals. She was verbally annoyed and judgmental of my interest in the Jellycats. I don’t get out much as I am a mother of two littles and she made me want to cry. I’ve literally never in-countered a ruder sales person. It made me sad as the shop it’s self is very cute. I’m scared to go back as she was so rude and down right nasty. This is a great little toy store and I was surprised to see they were competitive with the big box stores and amazon. They have a good selection of toys, games, and seasonal gifts for kids. You won't have the same selection of items as you can find elsewhere, but still...

My kids always beg to visit this store because they have an awesome selection of interesting items for kids and young-at-heart adults. I love the selection of family games. There are lots of educational toys and unique baby items that I love to gift to family...
