An old fashioned hardware store where service comes first. When you walk into this store you feel like you've gone back in time with the real wood flooring and all the bins of nails, screws etc. And yet this store carries all the modern essentials from kitchenware, camping things to toys for the kids.. I've gone to this store for years and the staff gives 110 percent. You're met with a greeting of "Is there something I can help you with today?" Today my daughter took in a broken plastic piece from her camper canopy that had broken. Although they didn't have that particular piece she needed, the dark haired young man took the pole and rigged up the pole to work better than ever!

The result is a store where you can walk in with a broken part and vague idea of how to repair and walk out with knowledge and the right parts or tools. They are easy going about returns if you buy more then needed. Compared to the big box stores they are typically a little more expensive but but not always. The real savings is when you factor in the cost of your time and knowledge. Where-as Home Depot or Lowe's will typically take hour or longer to get a minor part and their associates have little to teach me.
