Update to original review. I've stopped in several times since my past review. The staff has been great and friendly everything I've stopped in and the pastries are delicious. I'm partial to the blueberry scones, but the Buckeye brownie was also very good. I also love the chai and the seasonal flavors that are offered (last I went in it was apple pie - yum!). Overall, pleasant experience and nice local shop!

Staff was pleasant. Initially stopped in to try the pumpkin cream chai but also ordered the apple cider redbull and the turkey blt panini with a salad. The pumpkin chai was very good. My friend enjoyed the redbull and the sandwich was good, but there was maybe 4 bites of filling on the actual sandwich. For as expensive as the food can be, I would've expected a better amount of filling. They also forgot the ranch for the salad. The staff preparing food seemed a bit discombobulated, but they all looked to be fairly young and still learning. Overall, its not a bad stop to support local coffee, but if the sandwiches are consistently skimpy then I would probably steer away from...

Absolutely perfect in every way. My wife and I made a point to stop here following a brief get away and what a great choice.

For starters, the shop is very cute and well laid out. From the moment we walked in everything was clean and obviously well maintained. The staff was very kind and attentive, offering suggestions and recommendations when asked. We both ordered a breakfast sandwich (pictured), eggs and bacon with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a dijonnaise. My wife ordered an Americano and I went with a mocha, whole milk and whip cream.

As we waited for our order, we perused the for sale coffee offerings and picked out several tasty sounding samples. Our food and drink came out in a very timely fashion and we dined in. The dining area was very neatly laid out (game cabinet available).

After enjoying our brunch, we went back and picked out some sweets to take with us. Once again being treated so well by the staff. Thank you for a great visit and we cannot wait...

As soon as I walked in, I smelled a extremely strong scent of smoke from what I thought was a cigarette which highly disturbed me. The customer service was great. I ordered a vanilla milkshake but was horrified to see that is cost me $7.95...for a vanilla milkshake..When I obtained the shake, it was crushed ice with milk and vanilla extract and it was not even filled up to the top. $7.95 for a shake? This is a ridiculous price and perhaps some air fresheners are in order because smoke and coffee do not go well together. Overall, I am distraught that I cannot rate this establishment with -1 stars because it was very disappointing. Anyone who is thinking of going to Scribblers coffee must be prepared to open wide their wallets and tightly close...

We were in town this past week for the NEC Championship swim meet being held over at the Spire Academy Aquatic Center. We found Scribblers on our first day in town and we were so glad we did! The food was amazing, the homemade desserts were to die for and the staff was very friendly. By the end of the week they knew us by name. The owner Chris even stopped by our table to check on things. We recommended this quaint little deli/coffee shop to other families we talked to and will definitely put it on our places to eat next time we’re in town. This place is a 10/10! If you’re a coffee drinker this place is for you! And if you’re not, this place is still for you!
