Lake Erie Book Company — Local services in Geneva

I stopped by Lake Erie Book Company to donate some books and I wanted to finally check it out. I stepped inside to a charming bookstore with an atmosphere of nostalgia and good vibes. The building itself is cool, with built in shelves and the large front windows. It is a big space, with the bookstore on one side and the soda fountain and tables and chairs on the other. It is a great place to come and hang out, read, chat, and watch people drive and walk by. The owners were super friendly and we chatted for a minute. They have a growing collection of books, both new and used, and there's something for everyone! Kid's books, young adult, the classics, cookbooks, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and even a little bit of manga. I bought a manga and some sweet stickers. They have a lot of neat stuff in there besides books, like some kid's toys, bookmarks, notepads, pins, hilarious Shakespeare and Poe finger puppets and more. They also have these blind date books that are wrapped in paper and come with some stickers and bookmarks--such a unique idea! It's the perfect place for a bookworm to go nerd around for a bit. They also have some Lake Erie branded shirts and bags. I didn't try the ice cream, but I did get an iced caramel macchiato and it was super delicious. I plan to get some ice cream next time. I’m from WV and travel to Geneva regularly. I’ve tried several local coffee shops all over and this is some of the best. They were absolutely fantastic. The coffee was extremely smooth. I ordered an iced strawberry white chocolate latte with almond milk and I had to order a second it was so good. The book selection was amazing and I was able to get an HD Carlton book that was harder to find. They even offered to order a book they didn’t have. It's day two of this store being open, and it's already incredible. They have an amazing selection of books, and they're very reasonably priced! They have many different genres and types of books. They also have used books that are very cheap and a kids area. The whole place is just adorable! It is very beautiful inside with gorgeous shelves and vintage stuff everywhere.
