Trip Review #29 - Robot Zero Comics Great Comic Shop Stop in Geneva, OH I made the drive out to Geneva recently, and to my surprise, there wasn’t any snow—always a win in Northeast Ohio! I stopped in at Robot Zero and had the pleasure of seeing Gloria, a longtime employee who really knows her stuff. The owner, Tony Capo, is currently recuperating from some medical issues, but it sounds like he’ll be back in the shop soon. If you’re heading there to see him, don’t worry—he’ll be back at it shortly. Tony’s been in the comics game for years and is so good at what he does, he actually runs two stores: Robot Zero in Geneva and Comic City in Madison. Both locations get new comics on Wednesdays and feature a solid selection of back issues, non-sports cards, sports cards, toys, graphic novels, wall books, and common supplies. If I lived in Geneva, this would absolutely be my go-to comic store. While chatting with Gloria, she mentioned that both stores will be having a sale this Saturday for Free Comic Book Day—definitely a great time to stop in. As I was heading out, I noticed they have some awesome posters available for just $8, which is a steal. If you’re heading east toward Pennsylvania, both shops are just off I-90, making them perfect stops on a comic crawl. From there, you can backtrack west to check out other stores in Mentor and Willoughby. Tony is a standup guy and has supported NEO ComicCon for years—great to see a local business so involved in the community. Highly recommend checking out both locations!

Robot Zero Comics is a decent spot for comic book enthusiasts. The staff is alright and somewhat helpful, but nothing extraordinary. The shop itself is quite small, which limits the selection of merchandise. It’s a good place for a quick visit, but don't expect to find a vast variety, especially in toys and vintage merch.

I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Not only am I over the moon that I have such a wonderful comic shop literally down the road from me, but the comic shop's owner, Tony, is a top-notch GUY. He's super friendly, knowledgeable, and he wears cool shirts (his wife and kid are pretty fantastic, too). He has such a great selection of comics, has a monthly pull list (if you have specific titles you want set aside each week/month), and if you need something that's not available at the shop, he is more than happy to order it for you. Not only have I grown to love this shop, and Tony, but I have met such fantastic people through events hosted at this shop. This place is my home away from home. If you love geeking out - THIS IS A PLACE YOU NEED TO VISIT! Thank you Robot Zero for...

My husband and I love comics and graphic novels. We also love supporting small businesses in our community. The folks at Robot Zero are so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to! They will order you any comic or item you need to complete your set! They also keep track of anything you buy in store, so if you can't remember if you bought issue 2 already, they have it on file! They have a great selection, and it's really fun to just go in and see what they have. They have a lot of old school comics, new school comics, and everything in between. If you're a comic fan, or just looking for something new to read, I highly recommend you check them out! They...
