I set up an appointment with these guys, waited for an hour at the property, these guys do not show up. No calls or anything. In fact I had to track down why these guys didn't show up to the appointment. Their excuse was they are busy with work, so I managed to get a second appointment and this time they showed up and I got the quote, and I agreed to pay them what they asked, as I needed their services. Their craftsmanship and professionalism is abysmal at best. I let them work on the property, I got an email saying they did the work, so I went out to inspect and they didn't finish the job, so I had to call them to find out, their excuse was it was due to weather, then why sent an email that the work is done? These guys use subpar materials and they don't stand behind their work. After couple of months, the exterior work they did started to fall apart. I called them, email them, but no response. We've worked with Neighborhood Handyman a few times and we have always had the BEST experience. We recently purchased our home and had a few projects that needed to get done- first patching the drywall in our living room and dining rooms, then painting our first floor, and lastly some repair work in our kitchen and an install on a new appliance.

Every time the team has come to price a job or do the work, they have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is the team pleasant, kind, and super courteous (extra shout out to Rose who does the scheduling), but the work they do is pristine. I never write reviews- pretty much because I'm never happy with the work done in my house. I hired Steve to install a laminate floor in part of my downstairs and a few other small things- repair and paint a railing, install a storm door, put some trim up. Brandon and Matt did such a great job on the floor I had them put the flooring in my whole downstairs. While they were here I mentioned a few other jobs I had planned on doing down the road, but they took care of them for me and did a great job. They clearly take a lot of pride in their work and made sure I was pleased with the job they were doing.
