My mother and I went on Thursday and had pedicures with Julie, she was amazing! She was so friendly and there was a wide variety of products to choose from. After a bit of a trouble with my boys, I was reached out to right away asking how to make the situation right. They got us in right away to fix my sons hair cut. Wren is amazing with children! My two year old did amazing for his cut and he looks so grown up. My 4 yo is a pill and was difficult on the initial cut, not getting what I wanted since he went with uncle. They got us in and fixed his pandemic mullet hair and he looks great. He did amazing this time around and Wren was great to talk to him asking him which part he didn’t like and trying to help him through the process. She also gave me some great tips on how to help him for future hair cuts. I scheduled hair cuts for my boys (4&2) I asked if it would be ok for my brother to come to help wrangle the boys. I was told yes, that there would be no issues with the 4 of us being there. Wren was absolutely amazing with my boys who HATE hair cuts. My 2 yo got his hair cut no problem. My 4 yo wanted uncle to hold him, I was standing next to them to make sure I got the hair cut I wanted for my 4 yo. A women who worked there came up to me and said I needed to leave because there were people coming in and out getting massages. I told her my child was getting a hair cut, and she told me due to regulations I had to leave. So I took my youngest out, because my 4 yo does really good with his uncle. I went to the store next door to get a treat and to cool off. When I came back my 4 yo was walking out with his uncle and sporting a hair cut significantly longer than what I wanted for him. I understand the regulations and we were all masked up. Had I been allowed to stay with my child I could’ve ensured he got the cut I truly wanted. Wren and Julie were amazing and I truly enjoyed working with them. I’m very disappointed in this other lady who told me I was not able to be there to get the cut I wanted...

For my 14th birthday, I got a salon 302 gift card to get my nails done. I went here on December 2nd and I didn’t get great customer service like I had previously expected. I went in and as I was getting my nails done, another worker had walked in and they had started talking. The woman that was working on my nails had said that she thought about “not coming into work today because it was a Sunday”, which made me have doubts, and she was on her phone quite a bit. She also didn’t cut my cuticles, or trim my nails. After the product was finished, I didn’t get close to what I asked for. I saw my real nail underneath and I asked if she could patch it up better so it wasn’t viewable, but I got the response of “This is what you asked for.” I replied with once again “I can still see my nail” and she said the same thing. I was disappointed because on the Salon 302 website, it read that there was free nail art, but I have to pay another 20 dollars just to have gold foil pieces on my ring fingers. I also don’t understand as to why I needed to pay 50 something to have my nails done, but they were also done poorly. She was disrespectful and I suggest you do NOT go here if you want your acrylics done. This was my first time getting them done and I didn’t think they were “good”. I'll admit it. I've been gatekeeping. It's true. I've been closely guarding the bestest Secret Squirrel ever by avoiding leaving a review ... because I'm selfish. It's true. I am. However, I'm trying to be a better person. And so today, I'm going to share the Bestest Secret Squirrel news I know. I want you to be shiny and sparkly, too ... like me. You see, Faith has been doing my hair for years now. To say she's fabulous would be an understatement. She's simply MAGIC. She has turned my damaged rat's nest into glorious, luxurious locks. You guys, people compliment me!! That's all her doing. More than magic hands and an knowledgeable noggin, Faith owns an amazing personality. She's incredibly shiny. She has a way about her that makes you feel comfy and cozy, like you're visiting a friend instead of being at the Hairdo Place. ( That's a rare ability. ) There. I am no longer gatekeeping my Secret Squirrel. You too can look beautiful. I won't be the only one. And when I see you - maybe out in The Costco, both us waiting for a fresh sample - I'll know that you read my review and sat in Faith's chair. Look at us bein' shiny and beautiful.
