Studio City Foothills Cinemas — Local services in Gillette

This is revised from 3 stars to 2 stars, and it is still generous and only gives props to having new releases and stadium seating available. Surround sound is good and they do offer the 3D on those films that have it available. However, many of the seats in prime seat locations are broken. Dear lord, FIX YOUR SEATS!!! Several screens have holes in them that have been there for years and have not been fixed. Concessions are waaaay overpriced... WAAAAAY... which is to say your cost for even a matinee show will rival that of a very fine dining experience. $18 for 2 large sodas and a large popcorn? Are you kidding me? You honestly can't tell me with all of the money that they bring in for some of these big ticket movies that they can't repair their seats and screens! One of the lowest quality theaters I've been to, they do not keep up on building maintenance so much so I wouldn't be surprised if the sealing had mold issues. As well they do not take suggestions given to them at all that would improve the quality of the theater at minimal cost, nor do they have their own quality improvements planned outside maybe some day if they can ever budget it building in the lot next door. Chances are they will continue to disrespect their staff and that will feed back on the customers, it could be a great place to hang out in town but when you don't care about the business you own/run/operate how can it be of respectable quality...? Let’s sandwich the bad between the good.

GOOD: Most of the staff are friendly and awesome! Every young person I’ve interacted with has been positive and they smile and seem to enjoy themselves . BAD: There is one older lady, gray hair in a bouffant, has a terrible attitude; she is rude, condescending, unfriendly and frankly shouldn’t be near the front service area. I have yet to have had a positive or polite interaction with her. She seems to dislike her job. If there was another option for theaters in town, I’d avoid this one because of her.
