It was horrible! Most things priced triple high. Every item I had on my shopping list, I did not buy when I found it because it was 3 times the normal comparable price. I used to work in this store every week and they used to be pretty reasonable on a lot of things compared to other stores, had a lot of good sales too. However, shopping this time, I felt nothing but regret and ripped off to walk in their doors. Example, they were advertising cans of Rotel as being on sale "at a great low price," but this so called "low" price was for $3 a can. NEVER seen Rotel priced that high ANYWHERE, let alone that being a "sale" price! This time of year I see Rotel on sale EVERYWHERE for 98 cents to maybe a little over a dollar! Boxes of cornflakes around $7-$8 a box. Who wants to pay $10 dollars for a box of breakfast cereal and just plain cornflakes, nothing fancy... because $7-$8 isn't that far off to $10. Isn't breakfast supposed to be a cheaper food??? Best advice I can give about Pat's IGA is DON'T...
Read moreThis store is horrible! First of all, there's never anybody working there which probably says something. The prices are all double and triple what you can get in town because they know it's hard for people around here to get into town. They take advantage of the older people in town by raising the prices, it's sickening. They don't offer any variety so you're forced to pay whatever the price is. They are unhelpful and unknowledgeable. I had an issue with WIC and the only two people I saw there couldn't figure it out. Had to pay cash out of my own pocket because they couldn't figure out what was wrong or what we could take off in order to not have to spend money I obviously don't have. They were just clueless and didn't...
Read moreThis is a great option for a local supermarket without having to go to Escanaba. The prices are competitive if things are on sale, but otherwise a little high. The produce, especially vegetables, is hit or miss- but they got new refrigerators, so maybe it will stay fresh for longer. Don’t come here looking for anything special, you’ll have to be lucky or settle for what looks fresh- you’ll probably be fine if you’re flexible. Pay attention at the register that you’re paying the price that was on the shelf- every single time I’ve been there things have rung up incorrectly. Definitely try and support them when you don’t need a big trip to the chains...
