By far the worst experience of our lives. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND VOLCANO HD!!!!! THEY PUT MY HUSBAND AND 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN DANGER. PLEASE READ BEFORE GIVING THESE SHADY FOLKS YOUR MONEY!
my husband and I came into your facility on July 7th to potentially purchase a bike. We worked with Trampus, Karl and Steve. We could not agree on a number so we walked out not 1x but 3x and your sales team followed us and ultimately gave us the deal we originally asked for on a used bike. Your team took our 3,000 dollar deposit and then forgot about us. We called your facility multiple times asking for the pickup date and we got the run around, was put on hold and repeatedly was told, "we'll call you back" and to no suprise we never got one. We drove to your dealership on july 9th in the evening as we were going on 48 hours of no phone call or update, but you had no problem taking our money on the 7th, the lack of communication is baffling but to take someone's money and then completely write them off is completely unacceptable. We were told it would be done the next day. Quality check on the bike was not completed until July 10th and we rushed to pick the bike up before my husband had to fly out for a funeral. While driving the bike home it seemed off (this was his first time riding it) and he immediately let Trampus know that when he got back into town he will be bringing it in to be inspected because there is no way a quality check would let that bike out of the shop, the throttle stuck not 1x but TWICE!!!!!!!! Which is a HUGE safety concern, my 9 year old little girl was on that bike!!!!!!. Im more than disappointed in your team and company. We we're componsated a $350 dollar gift card for our troubles. My husband returned July 16th and trampus was able to get us scheduled for a 9am appointment on Wednesday the 19th, ( PS ITS NOT A TRUE APPOINTMENT, its just when they want your bike there to sit, cause its july 28th and our bike hasnt even been touched) we called multiple times a day from the 19th to the 24th and the bike has not even been touched. This is a clear indicator that our money paid is not as important as other people's money you want. We took another drive to your dealership on the 24th and spoke to Matt and Joe who said they were approving a license to even work on the bike, it's disappointing that we already gave you our deposit but we continusley have to drive out to your facility to even get an answer or an update. We have been told multiple times this person is new, this person is out today, at this point I don't care if your team members are on fire. That's a Volcano Harley Davidson problem. Hire reliable staff and train properly, stop making the consumers pay for your lack of business standards. Its July 28th and our bike still has not been touched because, quote from Matt " our tech was out and he's working on other bikes today, he'll get to your bike tomorrow" again, not my problem. If your dealership would have done the quality check right the first time or got it in the next day after we bought it, we potentially could of had our bike back but here we are 9 days from our first bike payment and we havent even got to ride it. I understand my husbad was out of town for a few days but If your team did what they were supposed to do from day one. We probably wouldn't be in this situation. I'm disappointed in everyone involved in this. I spoke with corporate today 7/28 and they assured me it will be done tomorrow but I sure as heck am not betting on it. At this point, I want my money back and you can keep the bike because frankly I'm paying for a bike for them to play with at this point.
Do yourself, your sanity and dignity a favor and just skip over this place, your a dollar to them, nothing else! Beyond disappointed and frustrated.
DO BETTER, NOT THAT YOU CARE IN PRIVATE, SO IM...

In the end I told her that it was a significant dollar amount that I had been put out and if they could comp me some of that, then maybe I could change my review. I got a $125 gift card to their store so as much as thatâs appreciated, I donât feel it covers the issues. Also DO NOT believe what their website says for bike inventory. I took screenshots of their webpage on 8/18/2024 that still show the bike that I bought a month ago and the bike I originally went there looking to buy. The least they could do is keep that up to date for prospective buyersâŠmaybe itâs a ploy to get people into their shop and then upsell them on a different, more expensive bike. At least, thatâs what happened to me. All that being said, we love the bike. Itâs powerful, loud, comfortable and gorgeous. Weâve already put around 700 miles on it which may not seem much but thatâs a lot for us.
1st UPDATE: Felt inclined to update this review due to the follow up on the bike purchase.
Issue1: The bike was scheduled to be delivered on the 26th but with changes to my work schedule I was able to drop off my trade in and pick up the new bike on the 24th. I spoke with the folks at the dealership on Sunday night and made sure that I would be able to take delivery at noon on the 24th. I was told that would not be an issue and they would make sure it was washed, fueled up and a new battery installed when I arrived. I was early, around 11:00, so I didnât expect it to be ready yet but it wasnât even brought down to the shop yet. I waited almost 2 1/2 hours for the bike to be ready and they never did wash it. I wasnât going to wait around any longer so I took the bike home after fuel and battery replacement.
Issue 2: The bike was advertised with a nice sissy bar, back pad and luggage rack in matching black. The pictures on the website showcased it as an additional accessory but it was not on the bike when I purchased it. I spoke with Carl and Allen several times on this matter with no resolution found. Upon taking delivery of the bike, I asked again and was told that it was taken off, no one knows why, and they wouldnât replace it. Itâs a $500 part and I feel if the bike was advertised with it, it should come with it. I asked to see if there was an old pull off in the shop they could provide, NO was my answer and I was offered a 20% discount on parts. I kept getting the line âitâs already discounted so much, thereâs not anything we can do for you.â
Issue 3: I had about a 280 mile ride home and I was looking forward to a nice ride. About 1/2 way home, I pulled lightly against the bars to adjust my riding position and the bars moved in their mounts and pulled several inches towards me!
Overall I am really dissatisfied with the people at the dealership. Christian was awesome, however, so I donât want to discount his part in this.
I will never deal with Volcano Harley again.
Worked with Christian and he was a great guy. We were a little bummed because we came up here with a specific bike in mind and it was gone several days earlier and we werenât informed. Otherwise, great experience. He got us into a 2017 Road King in beautiful Olive Gold. Weâre really happy with...

If any of the below has occurred while purchasing a Harley at Volcano in Galdstone, OR. We want to speak to you. Seeking to bring class action litigation against them for fraudulent processes. Or any other process that is suspicious and is indeed fraud.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
BE VERY AWARE OF THIS HARLEY DEALER THEY LIED ABOUT RUNNING CREDIT TO MUTIPLE BANKS FOR THE BEST INTEREST RATES! MIKE THE BUSINESS MANAGER/ FINANCE GUY LIED CHECKED MY CREDIT ONLY ONE BANK THEY PARTNER WITH AND GET KICK BACKS FROM AND RAISE THE PERCENTAGE TO BACK DOOR MORE MONEY TO THEMSLEVES. I ASKED MIKE IF THEY DID CHECK MULTIPLE BANKS HE GAVE A RESOUNDING YES! HARLEY CORPORATE YOU BEED TO INVESTIAGQTE THIS DEALERSHIP AND ALL THE ONWS OWNED BY THIS OWNERSHIP. ASSUREDLY THEY ARE ALL OPERATING IN SUCH A MANNER. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. OR RECORD ANYTHING AND EVERTHING THEY SAY. DOUBLE CHECK WHAT MIKE SAYS IMMEDIATELY.
Well, where should I begin but the beginning.
Met Marcus and Steve to test ride a Sportster S. Low and behold, it would not start. Okay, I understand. Rode an 883, then a nightster. It is too much to ensure the bike I contacted you the day before was operational. The 883 and Nightster were not what I wanted. Test Rode One at another dealership. Should have stayed at the second dealership.
Came back told me bike was ready. All it needed was a battery in the key fob. Ok! After collecting our information and really looking at the sportster with love eyes. Marcus proceeds to now inform that there is an additional 900.00 fee that is going to be added for reconditioning. Guess they missed the key fob battery! At this point, it felt like it was a bait and switch like a car dealership. Grabbed the I.D. and left.
Received a call from an associate ( Male) at Volacno. Informed me that if He was to remove the 900$ FEE, would I reconsider. Of course I would.
Thereafter, Received a call from Clay the general manager telling me the only thing they could do is play magic numbers and just bring down the price of the bike but the 900$ would still be in play. But it would not be additional to what was advertised on the website. I agreed. So it would be the advertised price plus the doc fees.
While in finance, I noticed the 900$ FEE and swelled to 999$ l. Mike The finance guy said it was too late. You didn't see it here in the prepaper work you signed while being distracted by "small talk". He paused to see if my text said 900$ It was all verbal. So they got me there. In addition as I said no to many warranty packages. We get informed in an intimidating manner that Marcus' Father is or was a sheriff. This was very alarming. Made us completely uncomfortable. Plus Mike made us sign an inspection from for CPOs that was blank telling us the completed form was taken to Renton. Yeah my mistake. Shouldn't have done that. Perhaps the inspection was never done. Hence the key fob and now an issue with rear tire.
Please be very aware when conducting business here.
Hope this is not a lemon. First...
