Terrible service. Paid extra to have the guy come out quickly. He arrived took the pannel of my dishwasher and leaned it agenst the corner of my less than 30 day old cubbards. I said please don't put that their it could scratch and he just looked at me like i was dumb and I moved it. He spent less than 20 min here. I gave him the error code and and the booklet on the correct page. told him what had happened (flooding ). He started the dishwasher jamed It in the hole when it was not properly adjusted and left he told me to call when something happened and let him know. I call the company 20 min later to let them know it stopped working. The guy on the phone told me he dosent know anything and hadn't talked to the tech and to just run it again and call back. So I ran it again it flooded my kitchen. I called back told them what happened and he said he would Calle me back. No call back pannel was left off in the middle of my kitchen. Got a call 3 days later when I was not in town after I had put the pannel back on myself and re adjusted the legs on the dishwasher myself. Almost 2 months later I get a bill for 168 something for doing nothing but damaging kitchen and leaving me to deal with it alone. Nothing was fixed and I was very rudly talked to and also lied to about how they left messages witch I don't have voice-mail so that's not possible.
Terrible service very rude and disrespectful. No call back from the owner when I called and left my number and explained what happened. Read moreI contacted Home Solutions because our Washing Machine was not pumping out water. I left a message.
When I received a return call, the repair person on the other end said he saw that I called for repairs, and immediately requested my credit card #. This was before he identified himself or that I knew it was Home Solutions calling.
When I asked for his name he got defensive and said you are always throwing your credit card around the internet, why is giving it to me a problem.
When I told him that his assumption was incorrect and that I don't typically buy things online, he sounded hurt and offended. He couldn't understand why I would want to know who he was and who he worked for and became even more defensive.
Once I was able to get him to the point of talking about repairing our machine, we were able to schedule a visit.
The repair person was late and when he was done, said they installed a new pump and it should work.
Shortly after his departure we attempted to do laundry; it was as if there was not an attempt to repair our washing machine. The water would fill the machine to wash, but the pump would not work.
Despite the awful service there was not attempt to make it right. I do not recommend Home Solutions in Glencoe.

I bought a part from them for my washer. It ended up being the wrong part number - Not even correct (my fault). This happened on the 23rd. 24th I called in and explained it wasn’t the right part, was told I had to call back when the service manager was available to get the right part number and they could get it done. Called today 9/29 and get told no refunds and that he told me that.
Claimed I was told I couldn’t return. Never was told I couldn’t return something. I remember the full conversation - Talked about tariffs and how it’s starting to become like the Covid era again then talked about washers on the way out.
Tried to go local instead of a bigger company like Dey because I didn’t want to drive to the cities.
