Rhema Coffee — Restaurant in Glencoe

This is a phenomenal business! If you’re not already located in Glencoe, this place is 100% worth the drive. You are immediately greeted and welcomed into this lovely family owned establishment. I got the pleasure of being helped by Isabel two days in a row. The first night we went there to try their flatbread 6/5. It was so good and broke the barrier. It was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and unique. We went back the next morning to try the coffee and smoothie beverages. This business again hit it out of the park. The drinks for blended to perfection, and made so well. You can really taste the difference between getting your morning coffee/desserts here versus chains like Starbucks and Caribou. They are also pet friendly so I was able to bring my babies with me who got pup cups! They are connected to a store that is also under them. This store sells freeze dried candy so we will definitely be back for not only drinks and flat bread but for some freeze dried candy. We also got a cinnamon roll, and it tasted like heaven. It was the perfect combination and it was not overly sweet which I highly prefer as most places overglaze the cinnamon rolls, and I can feel the sugar in my teeth. This is the by far my favorite coffee place of all time! Their coffee is hot and made to order. Their food tastes like the memories of childhood... hot toasty sandwiches and homemade soup that is very familiar (like my Dad used to make or Grandma, whatever the memory is for you.) One of the biggest stars at this shop, is that on the weekends they make their homemade cinnamon rolls, seriously second to none!! No joke out of this world! What a little oasis in the country! I was delighted with the service here and it's obvious that the team takes their hospitality seriously. Espresso is weighed out and carefully tamped before pulling. Lavender syrup made in house. Oat and almond milks available!
