This was the worst shopping experience that I have encountered in years. I went back to the tech department to purchase a phone which took less than 5 minutes and I’m standing at the counter and the only person I see is someone stocking . I’m clearly visible to this person so after a few minutes of waiting I decided to walk down to inquire where I could find assistance. Just as I’m about to ask for help Brandon turned his back on me answered a call for electronics never acknowledging that I was even there. To make it even more obvious he walk out of my site. I decided I needed to speak to someone in charge. I walked to the customer service counter and someone was called. I explained the above and even pointed the person out. The manager was very apologetic and offered me a 10 dollar gift card .My heart tells me that this was the most blatant act of racism that I’ve received in a very long time. My skin color had someone treat me as if I didn’t belong. This Target has that atmosphere of not wanting to help people of color. I will never step foot in this particular store again . Read moreSo, I'm done shopping, and as I bring my cart up front w/maybe 12 items, there are long lines at the TWO open cashiers. Both have people w/full carts waiting. I go to use the self check-outs [ which I DON'T LIKE, btw-I just hate waiting in line more]- A Target employee stops me & says self check out is now only for 10 items or less. I say I have 10-ish- He gives me attitude- Look, not my fault Target & co was too stupid to realize people would rob you blind at the self check- out- lol. He starts to count my items. And then he begrudgingly allows me to pass. Had he said no, I would have left my cart right there & I spent over $200. Target- you CANNOT ban shoppers from the self checkouts AND not have an adequate number of cashiers.Do you really expect someone w/ a dozen things to stand in line behind people w/100? Read moreThere were multiple prices wrong from the shelf. I didn't even mention two of the prices because I wasn't sure of the exact price, or I possibly misread the label. I didn't want to be a "Karen". I felt like a complainer or that I was trying to "get over" on the company, but your prices are wrong from what they ring up! There was a security guard that was just standing at self check out & already disagreeing with one price, then another on a second impulse purchase of a pack of gum, it was a little uncomfortable. I was concerned he thought I was being shady on all the prices. The only reason I said something about the second item of the gum, was because the incorrect price was right in front of me! The target associate was very nice in changing the price, but I shouldn't have verify every price on my list.
