Not enough staffing. I took my 4yr old daughter and 8 yr old niece here yesterday Sunday afternoon for my first time at Fun City, checking in there was one lady running the register while 3 maybe 4 we're just talking which okay their young. My niece has been here before so she's showing us around the bumper cars were great they did have a staff member there we proceeded to our left they played at the little playground for a little while which had no staff member then we run up to the bubble suit Court which had no staff member. we proceeded to play in the structure right outside of that Court which had no staff member which is shocking this place is 3 times the size of Sky Zone or altitude with double the amenities if not more but has less Staffing as soon as they were done playing at that structure abt 40 mins in my niece starts bouncing across the trampolines which had two staff members across all of them and they were very long trampolines with multiple kids on each one when I'm used to individual squares and the number one rule of every trampoline place that we've ever been to is 1 kid per square but that seemed to not be a rule at this place and I'm a very overprotective mother I follow my daughter everywhere I go on all the rides with her just to ensure that I'm right there and I know she's not getting hurt so I'm following them but they're going too fast for me to catch up as they're jumping across the trampoline and I'm walking my niece gets maybe four trampolines ahead of me and she cuts over in front of a boy who's at the other end but she ended up falling and before she could get up he was jumping across towards her and he landed down on her foot and you just hear her screaming a scream that I pray you would never hear come from a child and immediately I start going towards her as I already was but now I'm trying to get to her while shouting for my daughter I'm like okay she's hurt I get over to her and she screaming and screaming to call an ambulance her legs broken she keeps telling me her legs broken but she doesn't want me to look at it she's crying and hyperventilating and dry heaving in pain and I look down and all you can see is the ball joint of her ankle and her foot is entirely detached I look to the guy that was watching over that specific area and I tell him to call 911 and he Sprints to the front and I'm thankful for him doing that he seems to have been the only one that felt what was happening was an emergency as he's at the front on the phone with the ambulance a mother walks up to me and asked me if I want her to help me move her off of the trampoline so she's not in the way and I look behind me and while all this is happening they still are allowing children to jump on the trampoline surrounding us and not one person has tried sectioning off the area as we were all the way in the left corner so despite knowing that you are never supposed to move somebody with an injury like that I allowed her to help me move my niece to get her out of the way so she wouldn't get more injured the ambulance arrived in less than 5 minutes they had to give her Fentanyl just to be able to move her we got to the hospital and they tell us that it's dislocated and completely broken off at her ankle and that she's going to have to go into surgery at 8 years old and they're going to have to fuse her ankle together with pins and screws it was by far the most traumatic thing I've ever experienced and it will be the most traumatic thing for an 8 year old to have to spend the next year in recovery not being able to walk it just seemed like nobody really knew what to do it seemed as though nobody has taught them okay if this happens you're supposed to section off the area get help and it would have been helpful had somebody asked where my belonging were as I had to leave her screaming in pain before getting into the ambulance to go grab our stuff. it seems like a nice place with the amenities. But there is not enough staff for the trampolines to be safe here. I wish it was handled better, felt like we were an...
Read moreFun city is definitely a decent place to bring the kids, but like most places has positives and negatives. I have two kids- a four year old and another about 21 months, both of whom enjoy their experiences when we go here. We have admittedly never gone in at a super busy day/time by design, so our experiences may be swayed by that as we rarely see more than a few other people at a time in the park. Fun City is definitely built for older kids/teenagers with an advanced ninja obstacle course and laser tag, along with the jumping area but my kids still very much enjoy their experiences there. Positives: the ticket ordering process once you’ve filled out a waiver and signed up online is really quite easy The process once you’ve arrived at the desk is pretty easy once you buy tickets online- give the staff your name and you’re good to go The trampoline portion of the indoor park is in pretty good shape overall. They have a ton of trampoline areas including a dodgeball and soccer area which are in okay shape. They have foam pits which allow for the kids to jump that once again are in pretty good shape. They have multiple monkey bar-esque aspects along with a rock climbing wall, both with foam pits underneath which my four year old loved. They have a pretty sizable indoor climbing/play structure with its own dedicated area in the park. It has a massive ball pit, along with several slides, some of which are massive that our four year old once again enjoyed. The slides were definitely too big for our little one but having another area of the park to explore was a plus. There is also a mini obstacle course for toddlers which is great- It has padded balance beams, and multiple levels of platforms for them to climb and jump on. Cost for those under 6 years old is only $14 for 90 minutes which is a great value for the time you spend and how tired my kids get after running and jumping for over an hour. They also have a rock climbing wall over a foam pit which was definitely fun for the kids. Negatives: the bathrooms are an absolute mess. Like I avoid using them at all costs, especially with my kids. They are poorly lit, are incredibly dirty, and are 100% in need of a remodel/refresh. The staff appears to be comprised entirely of Teenagers. While they were helpful in terms of getting us signed into the park, they definitely seem aloof and at times preoccupied with phones and each other. I have been to this location 5+ times and never seen a single adult working. While it has never been a problem, it just doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence in the event there was an issue. Customer service isn’t a problem by any means, but the lack of any type of management figure doesn’t inspire confidence. The park does have areas where the padding around the trampolines are in need of repair and are held together by black duct tape. Along with this are areas have been roped off with caution tape for more than 6 months which from what I’ve seen aren’t going to be repaired any time soon The seating areas throughout the jumping and play areas which include low to the ground couches and chairs are definitely in need of replacement. Several of them are ripped, covered in duct tape, and overall dirty. unsteady areas for walking including some of the steps and padded spots. Overall while I am giving 3 stars, and definitely plan to continue going, I would still proceed with a bit of caution. We prepare with bathroom trips prior to arrival, and walk in with lower overall expectations for cleanliness and supervision from the staff. The place has a massive amount of potential for the record, but it seems as though they do not care to make necessary improvements to really enhance the experience. I would never plan a birthday party at this location, but on a rainy day without much else to do in the area, it helps to kill some time and my kids do...
Read moreFirst timers to Fun City Trampoline Park. For my daughter's birthday I wanted to take her somewhere she had not been to before. I've taken my family to other indoor trampoline parks before but Fun City had a whole different vibe. While booking online there was a "special" that did not list what was included. I called and the woman on the other end was in a rush, which is fine, I get it, but she said it was for that day only and they could not be bought online. That did not quite make sense to me because I did buy it online no issue. The ticket was for Thursdays and it included jumping by the hour. So it seemed the woman was not informed of what can and can not be bought online. When we arrived we immediately noticed how dirty everything was. Items and trash all over the floor and barrels overflowing. All of their water bubblers are covered in trash bags and there are tacky printer paper signs ALL OVER THE PLACE. Don't do this don't do that can't break bills, etc. So we check in everything somewhat goes smooth. I had to buy a pair of THEIR socks because they didn't approve of the ones we had from another trampoline park. Fine. 🙄 So many games were broken or out of order it was sad. There was a weird smell through the place and it was worse when you got to the foam pits. The foam pits were ripped up the rock wall was visibly dirty as well. At one point I bought a bull ride ticket for my daughter and the girl at the desk radiod for a staff member but no one ever came and I had to ask another staff member who ultimately had to leave their post just to do the ride. There were sections that were for kids 10 and up with small children everywhere with staff sitting in the area. There were areas that were 10 and under with adults all over the place, again with staff right there. It was really disheartening to see so many rules being broken and no one enforcing anything. During our jumping time we decided to try the basketball area. We had to find a ball from the dodgeball area to bring to play basketball and that's when we noticed one of the Hoops had been completely destroyed. In the same area were stanchion posts just sitting off to the side where people jump. So dangerous! The area was not closed so I have no idea why staff would put these here. In the general area of the jump area the floor was covered with foam tiles which come up in random spots making it for an easy trip hazard. I can completely understand that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items but it's really sad when other people steal water from a cubby because the bubblers were not available. So we had to buy new drinks as ours were taken. Finally, the door to exit there is no one to check and make sure kids leave with an adult. It is an automatic door that opens with motion. Terribly scary to know anyone can come in and anyone can go out without staff there. I do not see our family returning to this indoor trampoline park...
