Was in the area and saw the place on google.The other reviews seemed to be good so I thought, why not stop in to see what prices they would give for some sterling and silver plated stuff we had. At first, upon walking up to the building we were greeted by a nice younger man who led us to a lady named Gloria. Not even a minute or two into looking at what we had brought in she was asking questions about where we got the silver and after explaining our situation she continued to look at us critically. She then pulls out a business card of someone we had taken the silver to previously (but got a lower offer than we expected so we declined but took his card in case) that was still in the box and then tells us she doesn’t want to purchase our silver meanwhile we are still sorting out silver plated from the Sterling. After asking why she said she had the right to refuse if she “doesn’t feel right about it” code for your young and I think you stole these from someone/somewhere. I thought it was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We shared the personal reason why we brought this stuff here with her, but it was clear from the moment we sat down she had judged us as young criminals. Really a shame because everyone said she...

My story is this: I am a part-time scrapper on the side. I had a problem: no where to sell silver plate or pewter. The location I took my other scrap didn't take it if it wasn't copper or brass underneath (for silver plate) and no pewter. I was told "just throw it in with the steel (7¢ per pound)." Great Experience dealing with this Great Company! Shipped some silver plate out late on a Thursday, all the way from Michigan. Had my money the next Thursday. Very pleased considering I received more than double what the best scrap price near me has been in the last 6 months. I was worried they were going to nickel and dime me because I forgot a couple steel feet on the one item, but they paid exactly what they said they would for the total weight I shipped.
