Went here for the vegan social last night, it was not very busy but they told us they had just gotten an order from a person who ordered a bunch of stuff so everything was pushed back. Not sure why their order system didnāt pause online orders or give an accurate time based on this but I would suggest contacting the developer over this if itās a built in feature. I ordered at 8:10pm and got the Nashville hot plate and my friends ordered a quesadilla and loaded fries on a separate order about 2min after me, we didnāt get our food until a little after 10pm, so roughly 2 hours of being told repeatedly our food was almost ready. Right when I cancelled my order so we could just go home and make dinner there, a person helping told me it was ready, then 15min later gave me a cold box of fries and 3 soggy plain fried mushrooms that I asked for extra wet with the Nashville hot, and a small bite of slaw put in a tiny dipping sauce container which felt really unfair for the price of $20 and 2 hours of waiting. The slaw was actually warmer than the fries and mushrooms and I did not eat it for safety concerns. No pickles, and the Nashville hot sauce tasted more like spicy Italian dressing. The initial wait we were given was 20min, then they added another 30min, then kind of threw the wait times out the window, and I wish they or we would have just cancelled so we could get our money back and order from a different place. There was still a crowd of people waiting for their food when most of the other vendors were closing down and packing up. Iāve heard good things about this place and I really wanted to like it, itās ok to not be perfect every time and I respect the effort it takes to run a food truck, but I would appreciate transparency and respect for my time and my money too.
