Update! This place deserves a zero! The owner replied with their copy and paste response that they leave on everyones bad review, without even reading my review, and why its so negative. The Damage is done, i'm excited about spreading my experience with everyone i know. This restaurant has the worst customer service. For some reason they love to have you pull forward in three tight parking spots that they have designated to have your food brought to you after you've ordered through the drive through, even if you're the only one in line.I understand the theory, but at least designate spots that can be pulled in and out of without worrying about the car/truck that you're pulling in next to, or the one that's pulling in next to you. It's absolutely ridiculous! Well, im in the drive through with no one behind me so i tell them im good, ill wait here because the parking is tight up there, not thinking anything about it. After 10 minutes of waiting a car pulled up behind me, and a lady who's the "manager" says "you need to pull forward or ill just have to refund your money". Really!? I said. While the lady making the food says "his orders ready" , the manger Bella clearly on a power trip says "i dont care!" At this point all she had to do was hand me my order, instead she takes another few minutes before i leave the exact spot im in so she can give me proof my order is being refunded. This place is a joke, i have had food problems here also that i have never reviewed about because i chalked it up to it being new and perhaps training new employees. Now they are established a little more i would expect better. Bella, needs to get off her power trip! Ill be leaving justifiable bad reviews on this place for now on! Horrible service, food is mediocre at best. Please do not respond with a generic response of...
Read moreThis location has gone severely downhill. My family of 5 has been going here since it opened in Goodyear. It started off as a consistently decent fast-casual place. We were there this past Sunday on 3/17/2024, and the food and service were horrid.
The salsa in the bottles was extremely watered down. I'm talking half water, half salsa. Obviously, this made the salsa less flavorful. Also, trying to scoop the salsa with the flat chips was like trying to scoop up water. The ground beef was disgustingly greasy. It dripped puddles of oil as we attempted to eat the tacos. The oil was soaked through the entire crunchy taco shells, and our hands were covered in grease after holding them. I always order a taco salad, which comes with a tostada bowl. This time, my salad came in a soup bowl with no tostada. The portion size of the salad was half what I normally receive. The lettuce had moldy tasting pieces. The dish did not taste fresh. They forgot the dressing. When I asked about the missing tostada shell, the gal who brought the dish to the table just shrugged it off, and said they ran out. I asked her why I wasn't told this when I ordered. She said she didn't know. Zero service recovery. I asked her for dressing, and she said she would bring some over. She forgot about it. The restaurant was nearly empty, so it's not like she was busy. After waiting 5 minutes, I went up and asked for it again. I barely ate a third of this salad. It just wasn't good.
It was a very disappointing visit. It was particularly disappointing because it USED to be better. Every item we ordered tasted different and bad. Everything tasted less fresh and not that clean. My guess is they hired new kitchen staff/cooks.
We won't be visiting this location again for a while until their reviews show signs of...
Read moreGood counter-ordering, bring-to-your-table service. Food was good and we will return. The chicken and beef tacos use some type of ground up meats that forms a patty that is then fried? Works okay for the beef, but my two chicken tacos then had this odd chicken-lump in them. Those tacos are not something I will do again. Perhaps the pollo asado will be be better?
That is about all there is to mention that is negative. Standard Coke products with agua frescas, flavored & black brewed teas, and horchata. My wife had a combo 5 which was terrific. The chips are good; different taste than most chips at other places. Old-school squirt bottles for salsa. About $35 for the two of us with nothing extravagant.
The three bathrooms are ungendered and private, with the hand-washing stations outside the doors. Interesting and modern set up; family friendly. For those of us with larger physiques, the booths have tables that move (yay!) and aren't attached to the floor between the benches. If you know, you know how that makes it easier to sit in the booths.
Overall, very good. Steps above the fast-food taco places, not as pretentious as the tourist-trap Mexican food places but similiar types of food, and not as authentic as the hole-in-the-wall family Mexican food shops all over the...
