It is great to have a full grocery store like Alberts in a smaller neighborhood like Grafton. They have made many nice improvements to the building over Sparkle. The employees are friendly and it’s nice they have a dry cleaners in the store.
Additionally they have many great new organic products and local foods. It’d be great if they expanded on that. Unfortunately they don’t stock up on things and only have limited items. A few weeks ago I bought the only two pancake mix and crepe mix they had and they haven’t restocked since. They only keep two organic whole milk which I buy both every time. So good luck for anyone else trying to get some. I like the glass bottle milks, but they are big and bulky considering I have 4 sons and buy 12 of the half gallon cartons at giant eagle per visit. They have the avocado oil chips but those always fly off the shelf. They should get the Chobani creamer and kerrygold butter.
Every time I go I ask if they have diapers hoping someone will say something to upper management. They only carry one size diapers and have no unscented baby wipes.
I love that they have floral items and homemade gifts. I want to give a 5 star review. If you had more organic options and more in stock, I would gladly pay a couple dollars more rather than having to drive out to Medina to go to giant eagle. Unfortunately I need more of key items to shop...
Read moreI used to live in Grafton when this was sparkle and hated it. I went recently when visiting the area and while the outside is redone- and parking lot (thank God) but the inside is still a disaster. I just had a baby, and I ran in to grab some things to cook quickly. There was water by the coolers that I almost slipped on, parts of the floor were cracked/chipped and pieces of tile were missing. I went to the freezer section, and half of the things had ice caked all over them. My daughter loves the toaster grilled cheeses and they're easy to make, so I grabbed a few along with Popsicles since she is sick. The grilled cheeses are soggy as can be, stoffers lasagna and grilled cheese have freezer burn which gave it a weird taste- I'm fairly certain we have food poisoning from eating it. I spent over $200 and I ended up throwing half of it away because I'm scared to get sick again. The employees were very nice and helpful. Wish I could say better things. Grafton could use a decent store, with decent prices. I'm glad I live close to...
Read moreI love Sparkle Market, and I always make sure they are my first stop on my grocery trips. They have a great deal on fresh parsley and cilantro, so my fridge is always stocked. The have nice produce and an excellent bakery that will customize just about anything. One year I made my husband a "bouquet" of doughnuts, and they not only custom decorated them according to my specs, but they freshly made them an hour before I picked them up!
Aside from the food they carry, they are also very involved in the local community. On any given weekend you are likely to find a kids group selling chocolates, or giving car washes onsite. At the cash register they give you the opportunity to donate to local charities and programs. In the spring they carry the prettiest...
