I would like to start this of by stating that I am a Cisco certified networking professional. I have been waiting 10 years for a better provider to come in. Every time I complain about the intermittent service that works maybe half of each day, the owner accuses me of pirating music saying he could report me at any time, is Spotify illegal now? No, you're just a liar, Joel Large (manager/in bed with owner.) This company needs investigated, especially when it comes to their various embezzling strategies you overhear them talking about when you come in to pay your bill! "We got so and so to pay $XXX and she didn't even owe it! Then we didn't even log the payment, tax free!" seems to be a common topic of conversation in the office when they don't notice you waiting for customer service. It's like nobody has morals anymore! We overpay for 12megabit (which they only offer 8 as their highest service anymore) and if the service is working at all we get about 8 meg, 12 in the middle of the night on a clear night with a blue moon. The FCC's definition of broadband is over 20 megabit, so this company needs to change their name. You are now the dial up of ISP's congrats on becoming the most outdated ISP in Ohio. SELL YOUR COMPANY TO SOMEONE WHO CAN COMPREHEND DOCSIS 3.0 AND CAN NEGOTIATE SOME BETTER UPLINK FIBER. Don't even get me started on their antiquated CATV service that they've been advertising will get better for, 10 YEARS!!!!! Stop threatening your customers, admit you are clueless, and dissolve your worthless fraudulent company before I decide to actually get a class action together and let Spectrum steam roll you.

I do have to agree with the people who say they are hard to get ahold of as they do not respond to email or their ācontact usā on the web site. Once I did get a call back (next day after leaving voice mail), they did the install within a few days. Iāve only had them for 2 weeks and I only have had 1 very brief hiccup. My householdās internet is monitored by the FCC, and Iām getting 58 down (96.7% of claimed speed) and 8.71 up (174%). Perhaps my good fortune is due to the fact that the cable guy lives across the street, but so far so good. I dumped Frontier (6 down, 0.7 up) when they jacked the price. So far so good, You Tube TV works well, as do other streaming services on my Roku 3. Unlike Frontier, I can stream AND use the internet at the same time.
1/31/2021 - I continue to get 57.6 down and 9.72 up. SamKnows.on reports that I had 4 hours 23 minutes if downtime last month, but it must have been in the middle of the night as I only recall a brief issue that was resolved by reboot of the modem. Reminder that the cable guy lives across the street, I don't use them for TV and your results may vary.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally do not leave bad reviews. This ISP is the worst provider that I have ever had. I work as Technical support agent for another ISP. I know how to troubleshoot my own internet. What makes me so mad is when I call and tel them my internet is down and not working, they proceeded to tell me that itās my router and there is nothing that they can do. I let the person know that I am directly hardwired with an Ethernet cord to THEIR modem not my router and I still do not have internet. They proceed to tell me itās my computer. I said fine I have a windows computer, a MacBook Pro and a desktop that I built myself to try it out with a hardwired connection. I tried it on all 3 devices with the person on the the phone and still no internet. So I asked ā still think itās my devices?ā I got no response and thy proceeded to hang up on me. So I called back and said who I was and the call was disconnected again. I think this company needs to close its doors or sell to another company that will provide better internet service and customer service. They should not be in business.
