Small time operation. We arrived 25 minutes early for a 1 pm movie that had been out for over 2 weeks there were 7 groups of people in line to by tickets, you by your tickets and concessions at the concessions counter, I guess they figure they don't have to have an extra person selling tickets. Nice and cheap for them but it definitely impacts the guests. We stood in line to buy our tickets for nearly 15 minutes, they only had 2 people behind the counter. Finally when we got up to the register we ordered a bag of popcorn, 3 touches and 2 drinks and the cash registers all crashed simultaneously, nice. The 16 or 17 year olds scrambled to try to fix it, at this point I'm worried I'm going to have a hard time finding a seat for me and my boys. One kid got his register working and was able to check out 3 other groups of people while I'm still waiting for my guy. Finally he gets it working and we get into the theater, the only seats left are in the very front, we get set down just as the previews get started. This is a nice theatre if you don't mind coming and waiting in line. It's a classic case of a small company, trying to compete with powerhouses like AMC and the like but too small to have custom software to run three operation. If there are no cars in the parking lot, this might be a fine place to watch a movie, but be warned speed and efficiency is not something they will ever be...

What? Honey, that is at ANY movie theatre these days! They play commercials up until it is time for previews. Then they play previews. Then the movie. Have you not gone to a theatre in the last oh... 20 years? You will get the exact same experience going to AMC in Independence, but will pay almost double the ticket price! LOL!
My personal opinion of this theatre is that it's pretty great for a small town place! I was skeptical at first because of my experiences at small town theatres in the past, but I have yet to be disappointed. I personally don't mind the tickets and concessions being purchased in the same line, but we always go to matinees so there is never a long wait for us. It's always clean and the staff generally friendly (have experienced a rude cashier once, but maybe she was having a bad day). They do need to work on some sort of sound barriers between theatres though, because in some you can hear the bass of the theatre next door at least while waiting for the movie to start (I have yet to hear another theatre's noise during my movie). We will continue to go here to avoid crowds and high price...
Read moreI really enjoy this theater. The nachos were the best I've had in a long time! They were nice and hot with yummy crispy jalapeños.The front is so clean and I enjoy the soda selection and popcorn station with all the toppings. I love how all the movies I've watched recently were nice and loud (who watches quiet action movies?!) I truly appreciate 6 dollar tuesdays for affordable date nights. The chairs are pretty comfortable. The theater is always a comfortable room temperature. My only complaint is there has been an unpleasant smell in 3 separate theater rooms I've been in in the last month (even though they are empty and clean)....and im betting it's due to a dirty or old filter in the vacuum. It smells like stinky feet or burning dust and although I noticed I get used to the smell 10-15minutes after being in there, I've seriously debated bringing a spray air freshener next time I come 🙃. The only other criticism I have is the bathroom ceiling looks quite dusty but I will definitely be back in...
