Quick version: Do NOT recommend! Especially for breakfast!
The whole story (which wasted almost 30 minutes of our morning): Placed a mobile order 5/5/25 at 8am (an hour after they’ve already been open), got to the drive thru a few minutes later. 2 cars are in the parking lot, lights on are. We pulled up to the speaker, no answer or acknowledgment. Pulled to the window, ghost town. Tried the front doors, locked! Pulled BACK to the speaker, no answer again. That’s when we saw the 2 employees walking out from the trash bins, see us and don’t say anything, then keep walking inside. We waited for them to get their headsets back on (since they weren’t wearing one outside), then tried to get their attention again. No answer! Pulled to the window, we could see them standing around the corner not acknowledging us. Now we’re actually upset (reasonably so). Third time is a charm, right? Back to the speaker. Now comes the loud “Hello?! We have a mobile order. We know you’re in there. Our card has already been charged. We just want our food or a refund, I don’t care which” Finally someone speaks: “Hi so sorry our headset wasn’t working. What can we get for you?” Told her we had a mobile order (again!), took her almost 3 minutes to find the order. Went to the window. She had to UNLOCK the window! They’ve been open for over an hour at this point and the window was still locked? Wow. We then hear this exchange through the window: #1 - “Is it ready? Didn’t you prep the breakfast food?” #2 - “Uhhh no. I didn’t think anyone would order it”
Finally get the food and drive off. Open the “breakfast burrito” and this👇🏻 is what we have. A cheese roll up with a couple sausage pieces thrown in it. The other “burrito” didn’t even have meat.
If you’ve made it this far in the story, you must be bored. Nonetheless, this was absolutely ridiculous. If our card hadn’t already been charged, we would have left wayyyy sooner just like they were hoping we would. Instead, we still wasted money on food that gross and wrong, and wasted time on people who didn’t want to do their...
Read moreAll I’ve had is terrible experiences at the Taco Bell in Grain valley. Half the time I go there they get my order completely wrong, the food is cold or I just get awful service. That being said I understand Taco Bell is no sit down restaurant, it’s just unfortunate that you take the time out of your day to pay out of your own pocket for an expected service along with satisfaction of the food you expect to buy. The management is absolutely horrendous, here’s one of my experiences. My wife, kids and I all went out to eat Taco Bell at this exact location and they once again had our food order wrong. We got a 12 pack box of tacos, I went back through the long line of cars to get our order of food only for them to take back the tacos, mind you after opening a few to see what in the world we got. So who knows if they re-sold this. However even after all of this waiting and getting our order wrong we start to get a tad bit un-easy feeling about what happened so I just simply ask for a bit of customer satisfaction, could we maybe get compensated for the time we waisted? The manager gave us the choice of a refund or taking our food. We didn’t get a sorry, or won’t happen next time, just a get out or take your food? Man. Thank goodness this isn’t the only place to eat around here. We’ll stick with, literally any other fast food next time we go out.I’m just extremely dissatisfied, disappointed and encourage everyone in their right mind to avoid this over-rated taco shop until they get a new system going for how they run a business. I do not plan on going back to the location. Thanks, A...
Read moreI will tell you about my two most serious situations. The most recent and I'm a germaphobic so I'm worse than most about this, if you're making my food I don't want you to stop cleaning and sweeping and doing stuff with Dirt ,and not change your gloves. I had heard some interesting for lack of a better word things about this taco Bell from various members of the community. But I always try to decide for myself. But about a month ago maybe two, I went in Taco Bell and there was no one to be found. I yelled hello. There was no one in the parking lot there seem to be no one behind the counter anywhere. I thought this is very creepy perhaps there's been a robbery or a kidnapping. So I wasn't going to wait much longer before I called the police to investigate why there was a store open with the doors open and not one person running the place. After approximately 10 minutes and me getting ready to call law enforcement to see what was going on with God as my witness a man and woman finally emerged from what seemed to be perhaps a freezer around the corner They came out of the large door and was fixing their clothes. Many are going to laugh when they read this but in a professional setting and making my food this is beyond unprofessional. I have also seen employees crawl in and out of the drive-thru window horsing around. I mean I get it I was young once too young people will be young people. But this store seems to take it to a whole...
