Michigan Pantry — Local services in Grand Haven

This is a wonderful business and the owner is very caring and helpful! I am not in Holland now, but my parents live there and I couldnt visit them this year for Christmas. I found out about Michigan Pantrys baskets and wanted to send one to them.

Silly me, I was trying to click on one that was sold out already on the website but didnt realize it, so I emailed the business and asked if I could order it. She didnt mention it was sold out and put it together and delivered it within the same day on Christmas Eve, just with a couple of substitutions and even some extras like a chocolate santa. Going back to the website later, I realized my mistake and was extra grateful to her! She is very helpful, she even emailed me to update me after it was delivered.

Im grateful to her for helping my parents have a nice Christmas. They hadnt even set up the tree or anything because no one could come visit, and I think she helped make a little more Christmas spirit come...

The staff was kind when we came in, the store was clean and well kept. The biggest issue I had was I bought a jar of Reid’s Cinnamon Peanut butter and didn’t bother checking the expiration date, then here I am ready to ship my sister a whole gift set back home for Christmas and I notice it already expired! The expiration date was 11/29 and we came into the store around 11/20, usually i wouldn’t be bothered it’s just Peanut butter, but it is EXTREMELY watery in the jar. And some of the Toffee the clerk was promoting for me to buy was a few dollars cheaper at the local Meijer! I guess I business is a business. Anyways, I would recommend Michigan Pantry to locals, and visitors from all around, just be sure to check all labels. Im sure the staff will take care of it.
