We are so excited to have a new restaurant in GH!!!! Always love supporting local businesses. So of course we stopped in as soon as we could. I think they had only been open about 6 days maybe. We will definitely be back. Got there at about 4 on a Monday, not busy, only about 8-10 people in the entire place. Happy hour prices were great, service was good, and staff was friendly. As it got closer to 5 they started getting really busy. We only noticed 3 servers and one bartender working. No busser, no hostess, and no manager that we could see. Our food came out at a reasonable time (before the rush) the portions are on the smaller side, but are more than enough and the prices are very reasonable. The wings were excellent. crispy, meaty, and flavorful. The braised beef sandwich also excellent. Creamy onion soup, very good. Most importantly, excellent homemade ranch. The grilled chicken sandwich was not so good. It seemed to be a small 4oz chicken breast, which was fine. But it was so dry. I couldn't even bite into it. I was going to mention it to our waitress, but. The poor girl was so busy by then, she looked like she was about to cry. It was basically chaos at that point. Tons of people waiting at the door for a table with no one to direct them. I think this place has a ton of potential!!! I hope they don't make the same mistake others have made and open up too early without proper staffing. We will definitely be back, the environment and vibe is cool! Lots of TVs to watch the Lions win the...
Read moreDecided to try this since it's a newer local place here in town. Very very disappointed. To start, our waitress spilled ice cold water all over our table, my husband and my young child. She did apologize but that was the extent of it she took a while to grab a rag, wiped some of it up and then left the rag and told us "I'll leave this here so you guys can get the rest if there's any left". We tried to brush all of that off but when the food came (which I will say was pretty quick) it was dry, unflavored and just not good. Plan on your kids still being hungry as well because they give 2 small tenders and 4 slices of mandarin oranges. Everything tasted like it came frozen and they just reheated it. She brought us the bill and it was the full price. Now, normally this wouldn't be a problem at all but between the ice cold water all over us and the subpar food good customer service would have been to give a discount or something for the inconvenience. At least we can say we tried it. It probably won't last much longer than...
Read moreI think three stars is generous. It's newer and that's quite obvious, and this is in comparison to other gh and west Michigan eateries. Not exactly a food mecca. Don't go expecting much. It's a bar and grill that tries to make interesting dishes but they're poorly executed. I was told the wings are "famous" yet they've only been open since October. Sweetwater winge in Detroit are famous and for good reason. Don Petrinos wings in Holland are excellent but not famous. This place is new and out over its skis. There's always of course room for improvement but if olive garden impresses me more they have a long way to go. Do the little things right before you try to be something special. You're blessed that west Michigan diners have relatively low expectations and are not exactly spoiled for choice. My wife thinks I'm being harsh and wants me to mention they brewed a fresh pot of coffee for her and my mom. To me that isn't special but we aren't married because we agree...
