Staples — Local services in Grand Haven

I’m now inclined to write a review after my experience tonight. Grand Haven, Not much different than my experience in Muskegon. What do people even do there???? 4 people behind the counter, and only one person at the register with 3 people in line. After waiting in line with my three children I finally get to the register to pick up my pre-paid Christmas cards and she wants me to get out of the line to go stand right next to her (at the same counter) to go ask one of the other three people who aren’t doing anything for my Christmas cards when the other three people can clearly hear me and see that I have been waiting there for sometime. I understand that I was standing 6 feet from the wrong spot of the same counter that I was supposed to be at, however I think it is pretty absurd someone can’t just say “I’ll be happy to get your Christmas cards for you. Thanks for choosing Staples”

What is wrong with people?

What made me even more frustrated tonight is the same thing happened to me about three weeks ago when I was in Muskegon Staples buying dry a race markers. Stood in line while only one person checked out a line of 6 people while no one else was being productive on site.

I had a phone shipped UPS to Staples because they are a UPS access point. I was notified via UPS the package had been delivered. I went to pick up my package today 6/13 and it could not be found. UPS tracking showed it was delivered on 6/11 at 1:30pm signed by me even though I was no where near Staples . I reached out to T-Mobile and UPS and was advised the phone was picked up four hours after being delivered. My question is how does someone pick up a package that requires an ID? Also how did someone know my package was there waiting to be picked up?? Also while waiting for the fruitless search of my phone I made some observations. What a TERRIBLE manager on duty this morning! I had a cart with about $75 worth of items for my business. I was headed to an out of town meeting and needed just 2 sheets of colored paper. The manager refused to allow the Copy Center to sell me the 2 sheets of paper, even if I had paid for them at the price of full color copies! So, although I have shopped at Staples for over 20 years, am a Rewards Member and was buying about 12 items in my cart, I couldn't buy 2 sheets of paper with a total value less than 5 cents. I will NEVER shop there again. What a bad business decision on that manager's part. She needs to be schooled in improved business management and customer service. They've lost a life long customer over...
