I'm leaving my review with one star only because I had to click on a star in order to post my complaint. The face of the man Jose you see on the front advertised with this business is the so called human being who stripped my Chrysler 300 down, robbed my engine, swapped the internal parts including my seats. I have been dealing with domestic violence and so I'm remaining anonymous for now. They scratched the miles off the sticker I had from my home state not realizing that I have proof of my recent oil change at a business where the engine was seen on camera as they did the oil change just says prior. The day before this, I had to get my car jump started at a camp ground where two individuals saw my engine including a camp worker and another who knew cars well. I was with my 13 yr old son. The older bucket seats don't work, a metal strip is missing off my car and there is video surveillance of at several other businesses and church even. I have not reported this to the police yet but with my evidence as soon as I am safe I'm 1,000 % certain that these fools will be caught for grand theft auto, vehicle tampering, child endangerment, and I have a disability so that doesn't look well for them at all either. They put on the paperwork that I have a Chrysler 2021 except mine is a 2014. My car sits lower and all of the door handles are loose except the driver side. They kept telling me to go watch TV. At one point I walked out to check on my car and small dog and my car wasn't even there. I grabbed my son and when we went back the car was there wedged up in a way that they clearly cared nothing about the alignment. I tried to click the power button several times but nothing. Needing air to them begging me to let them put patches in my back two tires the helped themselves to my car. I question if this is even my car or they just swapped the vinn number which is easy to do. I spoke with a gentleman at an autozone the next day and he helped me pin the plast covering up that was dragging under my car because it had fallen off. I have several pictures and proof that I never let anyone do more than an oil change that was on video surveillance. My gas pedal is different, dash, steering wheel, doors, windows console, windshield, and completely different tires. The supervisor that day initially said no to them working on my car for liability reasons then the two Mexican men almost pushed me inside to let them fix my tires. The one was standing lookout around the corner and looked like he was watching me. The supervisor lady said she wouldn't let one of her new guys repair my tires for liability reasons. Must be a sociopathic way to ensure to customers that they are in good hands. They worked on two tires patches for over an hour! Tire patches don't take that long. I doubt he has history of slow tire patching. I don't know all of who robbed me but I do know even two managers I spoke with covered for the criminals. I spoke with one manager I think named Glen who said he would watch the video and get back. I called the next day and he said he saw the video and saw nothing suspicious but I could call corporate if I wanted to see the video. I declined as I would rather speak to the police than a corporate he made seem would just back him up, possibly a corrupt corporation as a whole. I spoke with one of my witnesses who said he stripped his truck down to a fram in 24hrs so it is entirely possible Jose and his criminal colleagues played a big part in helping which can be done fast with extra hands. I told the last manager I spoke with that I didn't believe him and told him when my story comes out, this crime(s) will be looked into. They didn't care that I had a kid with me so don't be fooled on the fake mission statements in caring about hungry kids. If someone in grand island sees a pimped out pearl white Chrysler 300 that was recently altered be careful who you call your friend. I bet they even thought a buddy at the station would cover but with my story that is coming out very soon, more than just the FBI will be...

On Friday September 21st, 2023, my 2020 bumper pull enclosed 2 car hauler lost all its studs on the rear left tire. This of course landed the axle on the ubolts at 75mph. I was able to safely get the trailer onto the shoulder. I started calling mobile techs to come repair the trailer, as I am dealing with my back injury and don't know grand island well. None that I called were available to help, but the last one I called recommended Boss Truck stop. I called them, and was told a tech would get to me in no more than 45min. 1.5 hours later he showed up. He proceeded to jack the trailer and axle to attempt to chain it up. Nearly 1 hours passed before he was happy with the job, and we proceeded to his shop. There is a lot of rough road construction near the shop, and the axle still impacted the ground at least twice. Once inside the shop, he proceeded to dismantle the hub and press out the remainder of the studs. He then informed me about a hour later that they could not locate the proper studs, but they could get a hub. With no other choice I okayed the hub, then went to the nearby restaurant to eat dinner. Once we returned, the trailer was still not repaired. We were told the tech was still out getting the hub from napa. I don't understand why it couldn't be delivered. Another hour passed and he came back and had the hub back together in 15 minutes. We then had to wait for the tech to write everything up, and give it to the service writer. The service writer then hands me a bill for over $1200. Almost 400 for the hub, and 6 hours of labor. That stung a lot, but I paid it so we could proceed to our destination another 2 hours east. We spent the weekend at a car show, where my trailer remained parked the whole weekend. We then drove 8 hours home to the west side of the Denver metro area. The following weekend I again hooked to my trailer to head to an event in Pueblo Motorsports Park . However 1 block away I hear and feel a loud bang. I stopped and was awestruck at what had happened. The nuts and u bolts on the so called repaired axle broke, letting the deck fall onto the tire, and ramming to tire into the wheel well, blowing the tire.
It is nothing short of a miracle that this didn't happen at highway speeds with 2 cars on it. Given that this establishment had my trailer for no less than 6 hours (and charged me for it), they failed to notice this safety hazard. Even more so allowed the trailer to leave without repairing it properly. This very easy could have been the end of life for my friend and I. This shop works on cdl equipment and they do this kind of work? I will stay clear of this place from here on out, and I recomend others do the same. Pride in work is obviously not a thing here, and the fact you can't email or leave a review only speaks to why you should...
ย ย ย Read moreI've been to this Boss Shop many times over the years as it's on my regular route. In the past this location has always provided fast, friendly & courteous service.
The day before Thanksgiving, not so much
I was in the building, in line waiting to check in for an inspection (& they were busy) when I overheard my name & "if I can't get ahold of him I'm skipping him". I'm right here, on my side of the counter, waiting patiently for my turn. Had a customer in front of me trying to pay out. I was next.
Once inside the bay, they found a part needed replaced that I had just replaced on Monday (two days prior). They didn't have my part but a location not far away did.
While waiting for parts, I decided if it's cold, windy & icy out in the parking lot, maybe now, inside the building would be a good time to check my load securement (straps, winches, etc)
Come to find out, that's just terribly wrong. Against our rules. You can't work in our bay. Whatever
I've fixed a lot of straps & tarps around the country in many locations & have never been barked at like that. So I stopped & returned to the cab. I had things to do in there anyway while they finished repairs.
Now, the shop manager comes after my keys so, I guess, I don't accidentally start the truck, drive through their door & run over their mechanic. It's a 'safety issue'. It's a rule.
Right
But, without my key I couldn't complete my work inside the cab. Maybe later.
Linda, on day shift, was great. Easy to work with as always. And the second shift cashier (Clint, I believe) seemed very organized, thorough & on top of his job. Very easy to work with.
A couple others there, not much interested in working WITH the customer. Very surprised & disappointed in this particular visit.
But if you have a problem with some of their silly, arbitrary 'safety rules' that were most likely written by some lawyer who has no common sense but does know the law, perhaps you should avoid such a location in the future.
Ya. I'm...
