Beautiful, historic building. First time in the Klub (now as a brand new member) since at a wedding reception nearly 30 years ago, and prior to that as a young child attending with my Grandfather's family for a Polka event. Rathskeller has Old World charm in its design. Bar food was very good. Excellent variety of German and European beers both on tap and bottled. German wine selection is also very good. Saw some delicious looking mixed drinks/martinis being served. Wish the hours were a bit longer or "wider" to enjoy the restaurant offerings since we live an hour away. Hope to make it to a German night in April. Looks like the management has good focus on lively entertainment and variety to serve its members well. Thomsen's had their appreciation weekend there. All volunteer help. Really a good, clean operation. I watched the football game in the downstairs Bar. Really an impressive facility, with dedicated volunteers. Food was great. service was pretty good. Value was excellent. I was amazed that this jewel is not better attended and used.
