Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Grand Junction

Ill tell you a story and you can tell me how you would rate the place. Went through drive through, ordered a blizzard and a smoothie. Had a coupon, said get a free smoothie with purchase of equal or greater value. The blizzard was of greater value. Went up to window, was promptly informed by Jabba the Hutt that It was meant to be buy one smoothie get another free. I basically stated "the coupon says get a free smoothie with any purchase of greater or equal value. ANY purchase" She responded that she knew that, but it was intended for just smoothie on smoothie style transactions (not her exact words).

If the girlfriend was not in the car I would have continued, but she is timid and not into that sort of thing so I let it go. I would feel a lot better telling some cow off then posting a mean review like this but I mean what the hell?

I feel like if i was an old mean person I could have given them a coupon for band aids and they would have taken it with a smile on there face.

Basically, the moral of the story is THEY WERE...

2 Hamburgers and an overpriced chicken strip basket. We were told to pull around front cause they were waiting on strips... that's exactly what we were wanting when we went through drive thru.. Thanks. 15 mins of waiting I tell my wife you know we both have worked fast food back in the day... doesnt take that long for strips. 20 mins of waiting and I've become a little irritated... 25 mins in my wife goes in to see what the deal is.. They gave us some of our money and 2 extra orders of fries to appease us for the wait. Get our food.. and my sandwich is the wrong one... and my wife who specifically asked for no tomatoes got what was probably the biggest slice of tomato they could find. Won't be back anytime soon. We decided to go to Dairy Queen because last night at burger king we waited 20 mins from our food. Apparently this area is filled with incompetence. Do your job and do it well!! This is orchard Mesa dairy queen...

Folks, seriously. I can’t believe how many poor ratings you continue to receive without making visible efforts to fix the problems. I stopped in for a sundae, there were 6 kids behind the counter laughing and carrying on like a detention class without the teacher in the room, and I finally had to say hello for someone to acknowledge me. I paid for a large Sundae which barely created the rim of the cup. I had to ask for a spoon, and I was given a tiny little sampling sized spoon that didn’t even reach the bottom of the cup. The staff made me feel like I was bothering them, and I heard giggles as I walked out the door. Please don’t respond to this review with “we take customer service very seriously” or any of that junk because it’s clear you do not, and it adds more insult to the service I already didn’t receive, just please read all of the reviews and address the issues one by one if you...
