i shop at target almost daily. My experience was sub par to say the very least. the associate was fine, but my big complaint was you had an item on your website for 50% off, and you had several of these at your store. the website didn't register that there were any in stock at the local location but when i went to checkout the associate told me they're only able to price match one of the units. not all of them. this was news to me, i cannot see why you even have a price match if the quantity dictates how many you can get at that price. furthermore, i can't see the difference between me buy 5 at the discount price, or 5 different individuals. the revenue is the same for target. this rule was not posted anywhere in the store nor was a manager able to assist. the associate was younger, she mentioned to another customer that she was a minor, reglardless, i feel little was done to try and see about the price match policy, versus just telling me was sounded to be either incorrect, or a bit ridiculous. i feel that a person who is willling to make a big scene at the store will sadly probably get what they want since its not posted anywhere that the rule is only "one price...

After being asked to pull my car upfront, as the young gentleman working in electronics needed a minute before he could bring it out to me, I moved my car and waited... and waited... and waited My TV was sitting on a dolly at CS. No one there. I finally got someone's attention, and explained the situation She had no one to bring it out now. Then she asked to curbside delivery guy to do it... he declined. She began to push it out herself and he said "Fine, I'll get it." The entire visit made me question coming back again. I used to work at Target. Everything that happened was against policy. I hate going there.
As with all the big chains, Target has continued to lower minimum staff more and more over the years. They're stretched thin. Many isles are a mess, and it's hard to get help. The staff that does help you are great and very helpful though. It's too bad executive greed has...
Read moreLove the store itself, but anytime I've needed an associate's help with something it's just awful. It appears there's a lot of opportunity for training. Specifically the service desk, they always have a line and it's like pulling teeth trying to do anything, especially picking up an online order. Associates on the floor will dodge you and not make eye contact. And the cashier's only seem to care about Target Cards, not the overall experience. But it's Target, so I'll keep shopping there. If they had self checkouts it'd be a great addition. Just gotta try to avoid the employees like the plague.
Also, be vigilant when using carthweel because it rarely works and the cashier's won't check, they just say it's automatic and take your money. Then you get to wait in the long service counter line to get the price difference, or you can save your sanity and forget about it, even if you went out of your way to go there to buy a...
