Mesa Mall — Local services in Grand Junction

I love the Mesa Mall the widespread of choices in the food court are excellent, so so many stores to shop truly something for everyone in the family I especially like the entertainment play area they have for the smaller children to keep them occupied. This place is booming everyday. I live almost two hours away so hardly do I get a chance to visit the Mesa Mall, it’s always a treat when I do get the chance. My single and only complaint are the guys in the Booths selling their hair, skin, nail products. They are based on commission so personally I can relate when it comes to making money and ends meets, also I understand if they were without a little aggression and a catchy sales pitch they wouldn’t be able to move whatever they are selling. BUT! It really sucks when you are feeling harassed and placed in a corner and are literally pulled aside by the arm to hear what they NEED for you to buy. Yes, I make my own decisions and have the right to walk away without any explanation to them. I wish not to feel obligated to sit through their demonstration I don’t want to be their test subject for twenty minutes for their overly price product. if a person declines the first time please let them walk away and leave without the guilt trip do not harass me with more sales talk and discount price of an even more unreasonable price. No thanks Twice should show that the persons aren’t interested. This was my experience. It does not take away from my overall experience but it’d be an even nicer experience if they could take it...

Went to Andrea Micheals photography here, The photographer was very nice and had good poses but didnt pay attention to detail. She had us hold a sign and my shirt was all wrinkled up over the sign on one side. I took my dogs with me and it seemed as though she was only focused on the dogs. Each pose was rushed, the whole process is rushed. They say they do "editing" it takes them 10 minutes. Maybe if they actually took the time to edit the picture or pay attention to the detail or take a few moments to visualize what was happening in the photo they would turn out semi-professional looking. I like the photos of my dogs by themselves howevet I do not like the pictures of us! You then go to the back room after the 10 minute editing and you choose what you want. $200.00 for the cheapest package is not really worth it with the quality of the pictures and the service. I kept them only because of the pictures of my dogs other than that I probaly would have just did the 20.00 one photo they sucked me in with. I will NOT be returning to this place. Had a quick visit but it was at a later time.It was not crowded and a good time to be there.We visited 5 below and Spencer's .The last thing we did was pictures in the photo booth ( my fiance and I ) .It was a fun trip.A non planned last minute trip.I have to use oxygen 24 7 and had to take my portable oxygen concentrator.Since it was last minute my concentrator was not charged completely and by the time we left the photo booth my oxygen was almost out and I was not feeling well.The mall was closing and the entrance we entered was closed so we were going to have to walk a while to get to the exit that was open however the security guard was talking and watching our purchased items as we were in photo booth and he realized what was going on with me and my breathing so he led us down a workers only hallway that was next to the entrance we came in and the photo booth so it would lead us straight to where we were parked.I was so thankful for him being so kind and made sure that we got to our car safely.Very wonderful...
