DG's Barbershop — Local services in Grand Prairie

This was a fantastic place from the minute. I walked in the door. The gentleman in the reception area greeted me and we talked about what I wanted done with my hair and I immediately was taken back through the lounge area, which is very, very nice and it’s private. It’s not like you’re sitting out in the open where everybody that walks in the room stares at you and the stylist are constantly eyeballing you. We went into. I guess you would call it a salon area but to me it looked like an old Timey barbershop. It’s been updated to 2025 there I met. Gonzalo he was super courteous and we discussed how I wanted my haircut. He was very understanding about it and I had no worries that he would do the job exactly as I requested. This place is super clean and super nice. Everything is very modern and you don’t feel I could invasion of your privacy when you’re sitting at the back getting your haircut you don’t see everybody that walks in the door and it’s just a very nice place to visit. This will certainly be my go to barbershop from now on. I would give this a 10 out of 10 on the rating scale the cleanest, and well organized barbershop I think I’ve ever been to thanks for your service.

Well made my second trip in today Gonzo was great as always haircut was perfect place was extremely clean as it Was last time Met the owner, Dan, who is a super guy also They are working hard to improve on anything that they can improve on changing out the lighting to avoid shadowing for the stylist. This place is a total gem! From the second I walked in, I was impressed. The shop itself is super clean and has a really cool, modern vibe—not stuffy at all, just very professional and stylish. But the best part was the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My barber listened to exactly what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. They were meticulous, professional, and just a pleasure to chat with. It's rare to find a place that gets everything right, but they do. This is definitely my new go-to spot....
