Giving this place a 1 star now instead of the 3 star I had previously, due to being over charged 5 times in 3 months that I've been going here . Wanted to give it a 2 but the staff on the front end are very friendly and helpful. They deserve a 5 star, but I have been going here now for 3 months because it's close to my home. I love the breakfast sausage they have there and they have a good selection of meat. Especially steaks great prices, and overall good food selections . The place seems well kept and clean so I enjoy that also. But to have to keep telling them I've been over charged is getting old. Had to go back once 3 times because the service desk was closed when I got there. I was reimbursed for sure and got Michigan bounty a few times because of it. But once I was over charged 2 times on one visit. So I had to go stand in the service desk line because the transaction was already done. The girl only have me the bounty once, not on both items which I'm pretty sure is the law , but I just wanted to get out of there not wait again. The very first time I was over charged the young lady told me she didnt know what the Michigan scan law was, so I told her and she stated well I dont know how to do that and I dont think we do. She didnt even offer to get a manger so I just left and came back another time. Someone should one take the time to train these employees on the Michigan scan/bounty law so they can help their customers more, and two make sure the prices are changed in the system to match what the price tags say on the items. I'll go back again soon I guess but even this morning I caught my tomatoes ringing up wrong, so I told the girl as soon as it happened to save my time from standing in line again for a refund. She fixed it right away and said she was sorry. I just wonder how many people have been over charged and didnt realize it? That adds up to extra profits for the store but cheating the customer out of their money plus having to spend time and gas to return to the store to have it fixed . Hopefully soon they get their stuff all worked out . Just disappointed for sure . So if you go here people make sure you review your receipt and take note of the prices incase your overcharged.
So edit update here. As of jan 10th 2020 I went to get some tomatoes, that as you will see in the photo are clearly marked $1 each with yes card. So I get to the register and what happens? I'm charged $2.51 . She told me they were by weight but if you zoom in on the picture you will see it also reads each. Move your damn signs if this isn't the price you are going to charge the customers. It's so miss leading. I'm not going back there again. I'm done with being overcharged so many times , I hope all of my friends read this review here. Well at least it will show on my time line which currently I have over 176 thousand views. Maybe then you guys will pay more attention to your prices ....
Read moreI came here on my lunch break today as I do frequently because I work right around the corner…well today I go to use the restroom, and before I even got to the door I immediately hear a manager (I’m assuming) berating and degrading a janitor that was in the men’s bathroom. She was literally talking to him like he was nothing. Disgusting. Typical abuse of power. I’d like to know her name to let corporate know their managers need additionally training on how to treat employees. I almost said something to her because it was terrible the way she was talking to him. Had she not been in the mens bathroom I would have.
UPDATE: I called and spoke with a manager who sounded like the same person. She was also rude to me at first then I started to explain the subject and asked for her name she changed her attitude, did not give me her name, and said “oh if it was a staff member I will definitely find out and have a conversation thank you so much” it was not a staff member. And if it was, why would a female staff member be in the mens bathroom saying things like this? This person was absolutely a manger and was basically degrading him about the way he was cleaning and saying he wasn’t cleaning the toilets correctly and that he needs to “learn how to clean the toilets”. Read moreWorst experience at this store...a customer asked the deli clerk for a napkin to kill a cock roach next to the hot case and the other worker asked to see it and comments "oh that doesn't look like one of ours" and they both laugh while telling the customer to tell the people at the service counter because "we're too busy tryin to get out of here"...the cheese and yogurt isle was flooded with water and towels everywhere soaking wet not even helping at that point and the smell was horrendous...while checking out I'm inspecting everything I'm about to purchase for roaches and the cashier says nothing and doesn't smile after I pay her she questions the change she giv me and snatches it and the receipt noticing that it was right she basically throws it back at me and says "you right" I totally didn't even question her, it was all her...very rude...I just smiled and said to her "have a good night, thanks" she death stares at me and replies with a stressed "mmmm" What is going on tonight there???
