I ordered carry out from here earlier this evening and the minute the woman answered the phone I knew it was going to be bad. The woman working at the front answered the phone and I said I'd like to place an order and she did this loud sigh and then there was this awkward pause and then she started talking about how someone sighed into the phone and I did not know if that was addressed to me like she thought I did it or if someone else did it but either way I was not her number one priority. She was very unprofessional taking my order and by the sound of her voice I felt like I was bothering her. At the end of the call she rudely asked "that it?" and didn't ask for a name or give me my total or review my order she just said to be there in 10 minutes and hung up immediately. I work in customer service and being treated like that I was upset and I would never treat my customers like that. I came exactly 10 minutes later and when I walked in she mumbled "finally" to the other woman who was there. I paid and tipped and left as fast as I could. Her body language made me uncomfortable like I wasn't welcomed. Now when we got home we opened it up and our food was leaking everywhere I ordered the beef strings and the skewers punctured the bag. Normally I wouldn't be upset because that happens but with everything leading up to that I was a little distraught. Also, don't get the beef strings it seriously looked like the beggin strips I give to my dogs only they are human sized. The egg rolls were very mushy like they were almost undercooked or something, it was kind of like eating ricotta cheese inside of the egg roll. The only thing good was that my boyfriends sesame chicken was a hefty portion, but the look on his face eating it I knew he wasn't satisfied. I rarely write bad reviews and I'm sure your restaurant is decent dining in but the woman at the counter just put a real sour taste in my mouth and because of her I will not be returning. I was looking to try more things on your menu at a future time but I can't handle that woman. Whoever was working the register on 2/6 at night needs to brush up on their...
Read morelkk01/14/15. We ordered food to go as we have done in the past, and it has always been very good. Tonight we ordered some Moo Goo gia pan and Chicken Lo Mein. when I got the food home and we plated it the Moo Goo had hardly any chicken, a couple of pea pods and the the rest of the box (OVER half of it bamboo shoots) and the sauce. Having been a customer for quite some time I called to ask about it. Basically a woman with accent got on the phone and proceeds to tell me next time order it w/little bamboo and heavy chicken was her attempt to rectify my concern displeasure. She said "bring back I fix", I pointed out that I drove from downtown area just for her restaurant and to make this trip now after being home was at best ridiculous.. I ask her would she drive across town for her to have her do what??? give me a couple extra pieces of chicken or pea pods!!! She didn't answer. I guess what I was hoping for being a 'former loyal customer was to make it right the next time but she made it clear that was not going to happen, but order wisely or something to that effect. If I were seated in the restaurant I could have sent back to kitchen but if take out your SOL.. BEWARE of the attitude and position they have taken when ordering from this place in the future... Irregardless of how long you have supported them... READ this AND TELL a Friend... Take out Buyers...
Read moreIf you don't have much of a standard for Chinese takeout, I could see you enjoying this. It certainly is food. But their fried goods are absolutely soaked and dripping in oil, and their meats are so dry. I've never gotten food from them that tasted fresh. The rice was dry and crunchy. Overall it's just not up to my standards. There are a lot of places in West Michigan that offer better food at the same price and are more authentic. This really is just American food. I like the staff a lot, they're always friendly and they are always quick to get you you're food. I hate leaving such a negative review when they've been so nice but the food just isn't up to snuff. Sorry Hunan, but until you step up your game in terms of quality, two stars is the best I can give you 😞 I hope one day this place turns around because I love this area and only live a two minute drive away. But I would tell people to avoid eating here and instead go to Lai Thai Kitchen just a couple blocks away. They really put this...
