We stopped here on my birthday since it’s new to the neighborhood and we hadn’t had a chance to visit before. It is lovely! The owner Alba has so thoughtfully curated items from Guatemala for baking, cooking, drinking, and eating. On top of that, there are about 20+ different baked goods made at the store. Our favorites were the anise bread, which is soft and beautifully flavored, and the buttery, flaky, melt-in-your mouth turnover. We had the pumpkin, not overly sweet but nicely and more subtly spiced than typical American pumpkin pastries. The turnover pastry itself was incredible on its own - I could have eaten one without any filling! Definitely stop by to enjoy this charming store with products you won’t find at many, if any, other...

What a fantastic store to visit during Fall on Fulton - and it happened to be the grand opening! I’m so happy that we walked inside because this isn’t just a small grocery store: there are more than 2 dozen fresh-baked pastries to choose from (in fact, I would say that they are primarily a bakery), including sweet empanadas, churros and pan dulce. We tried the pumpkin and the strawberry filled croissants. Both were absolutely amazing and had just the right amount of sweetness. The dough was perfectly buttery and flakey, and we will absolutely be back.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and we are so excited to visit again to try something new. What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood - wishing her...

I've been driving by this little gem for far too long! I finally stopped in and I was delighted to find a cute little shop packed full of Hispanic cooking supplies, snacks, and baked goods. The selection of cakes, cookies, and pastries is amazing! Everything is clearly baked fresh in-house. The kind lady behind the counter informed me that people eat cookies for breakfast in Guatemala, so I'm currently eating a cookie for breakfast. (In the name of cross-cultural learning, of course.) She also convinced me to add a tamale to my order; I don't anticipate regretting that decision at lunch time. I expect I will return again and again to this delightful oasis of...

Quaint little shop with decent selection of grocery items and international snacks. Also the food and desserts they serve are satisfying and fresh. We had their tamalaes which I feel are the best I have had in grand rapids. Their churros are also crispy and good. We added some Nutella to them and they were delicious. Definitely should check it out.

What a wonderful shop with delicious baked goods! Purchased the Churros, they are fantastic. Anxious to return and try some of the other items. Everything is baked in the store. Definitely stop by when you are at the Fulton Street Farmer’s Market. Also easy parking there as parking off Fuller is difficult.
