Rakowski Family Farm Market — Local services in Grand Rapids

Perfect for the person who wants to support farm to table, local business, and Michigan made products/farmers. The selection and prices are comparable to the farmer's market (if not better). Their meat selection is extremely well priced with all the standard items like turkey, beef, pork, and chicken, but they also have breakfast meats, processed sausages (of all varieties), ribs, lamb, turkey, rabbit, and duck. It's perfect for those who want to shop at the Fulton st. Farmer's Market, but can't get down there (or it's an off day). I love that they have products from Traverse city (jams, etc.) and have a great selection of gluten free items as well (gluten free flour, GF snacks, GF granola, etc.) all made in Michigan. This is going to be my go to grocery store / place to get food in Grand Rapids...

I've shopped at this market a few times now and I am satisfied with the food and customer service. Millie is awesome and such a nice person. Great conversations, great food, and her son is so cute.
