I brought my vintage Denon integrated amp. I was concerned because it just wasn't "clean" like it used to be. The gentleman ( I believe his name is Bryan). Took time to listen to my concerns and made notes. He is very busy ( and now I know it's because he's so good!), so it took a few weeks to get it done. I received a detailed receipt of everything he checked and what he found. It was thoroughly tested, which made me feel better. When I got it home and hooked back up I couldn't believe how much better it sounded! I sounded just like the day I bought it!! All the switches moved like new! I'm absolutely thrilled at how excellent he did bringing my baby back up to perfect! I HIGHLY recommend their service department!! Top notch, professional with a personal, and caring touch!! While you are there...browse his showroom. He has some stuff that will make you drool and his prices are...
Read moreI tried super hard to give this shop a chance--but it's impossible to communicate after repair drop-off without physically visiting the store, it took two months longer than the estimate to get it back and only after lots of effort trying to get an update (which isn't a problem if it's done right), and although it did indeed function when I finally was able to get it back, it came back in slightly worse shape than when I dropped it off (missing springs and screws, scuff marks, stripped nuts)--not what I was looking for in a complete restoration. At this point, I probably going to resume sending my stuff to Audio Classics in NY for better and more thorough service. But for anything you value (i.e. vintage McIntosh, in my case), this probably...

The restored equipment looks like new and, according to Misfitz web site, is usually upgraded with newer technolgy components including LED's for indicators and illumination where practical. Their service unit replaced the rubber surround of the woffer on my speakers, repaired and reconditioned my receiver, and tuned up my turntable. The results of the service work performed on my equipment are, in my opinion, excellent. The equipment is now like new. I feel very comfortable placing my equipment in their care.
I recommend that anyone interrested in purchasing quality audio equipment make Misfitz Audio their first stop for purchasing equipment. A person shopping for fine audio equipment will probably need to...
